More progressive than Bernie? Not sure where I've ever made such claim. I'm simply unwilling to choose a candidate and party that are literally looting the country dry because I don't like the tone of voice Democrats use towards Bernie supporters. I'm just being pragmatic due to circumstance.

If someone would rather vote third party than vote Democrat, I wouldn't hold it against them, but I'm certainly not doing it this time around.

By that same exact logic. The majority of the country indirectly supported Trump and he won by a landslide in 2016. It's not how the popular vote works and it's certainly not how the Electoral College works. Just because I won't pledge fealty upon the alter of Democrats does not mean that I am helping Trump. It is their job to get people's votes. Not the other way around.

By a landslide you mean about 70k votes across a handful of states. That said if people ever want third parties in the US to ever be anything more than spoilers than at some point we would have to do an amendment to abolish the electoral college. As long as the electoral college exists the best case scenario for a third party is prevent anybody from getting 270 votes in which case nobodies votes matter and the house of reps picks the president and the senate picks the vp.
