Can't speak for other states as I have no idea, but in my state we can check a website to see whether or not our last ballot was counted.

There won't be any invisible ballot theft in Wisconsin; if it happens, it'll be very visible and undeniable, because everyone who voted by mail will know if their vote wasn't counted.

I plan to send mine in the same day the ballot arrives in the mail, so there will be no reason it won't get there in time outside of deliberate malfeasance.

Because Trump tells people what they want to hear... It’s why I didn’t have the same reaction to the HBO interview as others... I thought he nailed what his supporters needed to hear. A lot of people got upset over “it is what it is”... without realizing he just justified not giving a shit for every single one of his supporters and their sympathizers.

Well, say you mail in your vote and don't find out it wasn't actually counted until November 4th, or some time after that.

Trump is deliberately defunding the institution of the post office to stop mail in ballots from being counter. He actually said that. That's pretty deliberate malfeasance to me.

This is definitely their plan - we'll see how it works. The key states will be battleground states, and who their respective Governor/SecState's are.

Really, anyone who plans on voting by mail this year should be doing it as soon as they are able. For President, at least, it's not as if there's a ton of people who are going to be on the fence about who to vote for by the time ballots first become available, though I'll concede there might not be as much clarity for some people down-ballot. Whatever you do, try to have it tracked if the option is available.

If possible you can deliver your ballot directly to a ballot drop box if they are available in your area--though of course Trump is trying to block this option as well.

I think asking people to risk their health to vote in person is a big fucking ask, but if you're in a state that's being completely ratfucked by Trump and his DeJoy lackey and you don't have access to the other options, please, please still go out--observing all health safety precautions--and vote. I can't think of a time when it's been more important.

I didn't have a purity test. I was willing to vote for Biden. I was pretty damn vocal about it. Biden picked someone that pist off a portion of the democratic voters, and people are upset I'm not doing cartwheels in support. Sorry even if I was voting for Biden. It a dumbass pick. She brings nothing, but she does help pander to Wall Street. The only worse possible pick was Susan Rice, and I fear she might end up being National Security Advisor.

The talk of purity tests rests on the assumptions that say you as a say Leftist or say Socialists are really just Liberals with extra Liberalism, when in fact these things are different animals entirely.
