This is a fundamentally dishonest response.

Those levers don't function, at all, without political backing. We saw that, directly, with Trump's impeachment. If it were on the merits, he would've been removed from office, instead, he got a pass because Republican control the Senate.

If you will not prosecute malfeasance, then laws against said malfeasance do not matter. It's tacitly permitted.

If Trump refuses to leave, and the Senate chooses to back him staying, then the USA is in a massive amount of trouble. Those levers aren't being used. You act like they're automatic, and they are not.
