one group of supporters are boring liberals who will do what boring liberals do, nothing.
one group of supporters are waiting for the green light to go house to house rwanda style.
real tough choice here guys.
It’s not good faith that’s the issue... You can check Trump’s current solution to the housing crisis, versus Biden’s plan... claiming they are similar or a GOP gift, is simply lazy.
@PACOX it’s not the people you are attacking that are portraying Biden as some leftist savior... it’s the people you agree with. Which makes all this simply bizarre...

I guess the difference is that some of us recognize that people and their causes can evolve over time, and others think both that those views are set in stone at a young age and any such shift in later years must be dishonest in nature.
I can't see how the latter makes any sense at all. Particularly as my own views have evolved in that time a fair bit.
Is Biden still championing those things, or have his views changed over the intervening years? That's the real question, which somehow never gets asked by the anti-Biden crowd.
Edit: Also, incrementalism is a thing. Even if Biden is only a small step forward, or even a small step backwards, when the only real alternative on the ballot is Donald Trump, who's an 800-meter sprint backwards with a plan to keep going once they reach that goal line, it should be an easy choice. You vote for the candidate who moves the needle closest to the direction you want to go, even if it's not completely in line.

Like I said... It doesn’t make sense... Trump is campaigning on Biden being the leftist savior brining socialist Medicare for all and the evils of criminal justice. That’s not the message Biden is sending... it’s not Biden voters that need to be convinced that Biden isn’t some leftist extreme... because if he is accepted as one, you can no longer see left through the Overton window.
If Trump succeeds in beating Biden, as a representation of the far left. There will be no left what so ever in US... AOC would be equivalent to Karl Marx on Lenin Steroids...

Because
Republicans do not fear mainline Democrats. They are soft and practically conservatives themselves. Easy pickings. When Republicans go down their 'the radical left' route its to cause division between liberals and progressives because a liberal will gladly progressive favor for that of Republican. It works.
And what was the conservative alternative to Biden? In so far as I can determine Trump wasn't it. Too many that voted for him in '16 won't be voting for him this year. Had Biden lost the primary to a "progressive," then things would be looking positively surreal since I'm not sure that even the likes of Warren (my personal choice) would be polling as well as Biden currently is.
“But this isn’t the end. I promise you, this is not the end, and we have to regroup and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create the better society for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible.” ~~Jon Stewart
That’s why they can’t campaign against them? Why is Biden the end of western culture?
Can you elaborate on the italic? What do you think just happened with you and GhostPanther? They are soft and practically conservatives themselves. Easy pickings. When Republicans go down their 'the radical left' route its to cause division between liberals and progressives because a liberal will gladly progressive favor for that of Republican. It works.
Edit: The people you are attacking are far more progressive than GhostPanther...

Quit the pearl clutching. It’s a waste of time. If the Dems lose solely due to voters that didn’t vote because Biden wasn’t left enough for them, they’ll not just get called out for it but will have to deal with 4 more years of Trump. And it’s not like he gives two fucks about that base. So they’ll reap what they sow. You’re boring me now. See you.
If this is your train of thought, you are shitting on every single person on social security. Because unlike Trump’s plan, it won’t be defunded by 2023 under Biden.

Screaming “people support Medicare for all”, while the man defunding social security is running for office.

Why is “orange man bad”? Can you list his campaign promises or his current record?

Obviously, seeing Trump’s record and promises, to you just means “orange man bad”. That why we disagree... you disregard issues that are causing people to vote against Trump, as just “orange man bad”.

"A man is known by the company he keeps"
The GOP is saving "Whoa these people have chosen to attach themselves to your party, what are you doing to attract them? I thought it was YOUR party. Well if this is the company you keep were going to judge you accordingly. "
Considering that many Democrat pride themselves as being 'moderates' don't like being associated with radical anything and will try to distance themselves from the distinction - the 'radials' being progressives.
Basically the same trash some people pulled with Bernie voters and the 'Bernie Bros'.
I mean, there's been several Biden platforms posted that amount to a lot more than him not being Trump, and you swept them aside because it's not what you wanted to hear, so at this point I'm not certain what there is to add.
To say nothing of that fact that shitting on both candidates is unlikely to get more people to vote, to say the least, so your argument seems self-defeating to me.

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.
To be fair, he's not a Trump supporter. He's a member of the other cult who's upset his candidate didn't have as much support as he thought he did. This is all just a "taking my ball and going home" tantrum.
And just so I'm clear, I'm not calling all Bernie supporters cultists. Just the ones who think his loss in the primaries means suddenly there's no difference between Trump and the Dems.
