A left-wing group that opposed Joe Biden in the primaries is launching a six-figure digital campaign aimed at persuading progressive voters in battleground states, especially Bernie Sanders supporters, to cast a ballot for the former vice president.

But don’t expect it to air rose-colored ads about Biden: RootsAction.org, POLITICO has learned, has recruited some of the biggest critics of Biden within the Democratic Party to make an unvarnished case for why they’re voting for him despite their disagreements.

What discord is that? Convincing half the voters that Biden represents the far left? Do you know what the concept of the Overton Window is? Do you understand how neoliberals moved the country right?

I know people kept saying there were good bits and someone linked the whole hour long Trump speech, but that thing had no value outside of fear mongering. It was horrifying...

In all honesty I think the support for Trump is pretty much what it's going to be at this point.

And I think that amount of support points pretty squarely to him losing... in any HONEST run.

Which is why he's fighting tooth and nail to make it as dishonest as possible. Unfortunately, democrats don't just have to get people out to vote... they have to ensure those votes are counted, period.

If this comes down to a supreme court decision, I can honestly see them (being conservative-leaning as they are) deciding "well because Trump defunded the post office uniformly and also affected mail-in ballots from republicans, we can't officially rule that he did so specifically to disenfranchise democrats (despite them relying more heavily on mail-in ballots) so all of those votes for Biden that came in past the date or were late can't be counted, because we can't officially say there was malintent behind ensuring they didn't get delivered... so... Trump won."

Can someone please explain what his strategy is here? This literally looks like he is trying to lose. What is the benefit of this in any way outside of insurance companies making more money? And even if you think the Obamacare individual mandate penalty is good, how is it supposed to win back those Obama to Trump voters that Biden says is integral to his campaign strategy? I guarantee that after only 4 years people did not change their mind on disliking being charged for not being able to afford having insurance. Especially now that so many Americans are unemployed and lost their employer's health insurance. Also if he actually plans to implement a public option like he claims (doubtful), you would not need an individual mandate penalty, that would be pointless and cruel.
