It's mostly wild fantasies about an imaginary Biden. I would have said "drug fueled" fantasies. But it's more likely the saltiest Rogan fans dont have access to legal weed. This is them airing their grievances about it.

    Naturally, Matt Tiabbi laughs loudly.
Joe Rogan is a fucking moron. And it's a tragedy that someone like this has so much reach.

Sure, he says interesting things from time to time, but by and large he's just the radio version of Dan Bilzerian.

All that said, isn't this video from like way back during primary season? In fairness to Rogan, the Joe Biden today is way more enthusiastic and on-point than back then. It's like he's saved his battery for when Joe really needs it, if we're using the torch analogy. That's smart, not sleepy.

    Biden back then?
His son died in 2015. I wouldn't have called what he went through as "sleepy."

    Yes, two sides. Both extremes.

Except Biden ISN’T an extreme leftist by any measure, whereas trump is an extreme rightist, meaning you’ve just discounted everyone to the left of Biden for no reason.

Moderate republican is a contradiction in terms. Anybody who still identifies as a republican is a fascist or a moron. The GOP as a party is beyond redemption or salvaging.

Trump's approval rating among registered Republicans is still in the 90% range.

"Moderate republican" is a meme that only exists on Morning Joe and the NY Times editorial room.

Thirtyfiveeight published a pretty good article on why that's the case and why it's not likely to change even if Trump and the Republicans lose big in November. There used to be a hefty political cost to being an extremist, now it's rewarded. There really is no hope for the GOP, Republicans either need to bark with the pack or leave politics altogether.

Oh boy. Bob Woodward's book about Trump includes quotes from a number of interviews that show that Trump was well aware of just how bad the coronavirus was back at the beginning. Woodward also just released audio clips in which Trump admits that he was actively covering up the extent of the danger...

(Click on the image for a link to the actual audio clip.)

So Trump understood this dangerous virus was easily spread and deadlier than the flu back in February.

And openly admitted to downlplaying its seriousness to avoid a "panic", putting millions of Americans at risk who believed Trump's public dismissals of the virus.

I was fine attributing some of the nearly 200,000 American deaths to Trump's absolutely mind blowing incompetence. Now I'll attribute every single death to Trump's incompetence, callousness, and complete lack of humanity.

How anyone can support this man at this juncture is actually beyond me.

Yeah, I mean, once Republicans figured out COVID was going to affect people of color and the poor disproportionately... they stopped caring about doing anything about it.

Yup, I think that's the appropriate takeaway.

Kinda curious how the Cult of Trump is going to explain this away.

"He saved more lives by avoiding a panic by warning people how serious this would be earlier."

If this line isn't already on Fox I'll figuratively eat my hat. Not literally though, I like my hat.

    They'll blame Obama.

Whereas our 3 Anti-Biden Stooges will blame this on the 1993 Crime Bill.

The resident and his administration are directly responsible for almost 200K lives lost and countless others who are struggling. All because he didn't want to cause a panic...wow. He knew what the situation was and did little about it. And this guy wants to be re-elected?! WTF?!

But wait, I thought All Lives Mattered, right?! RIGHT?!

We really need to vote this crap basket out.

President Donald Trump's former top Cabinet officials are among his harshest critics in journalist Bob Woodard's new book "Rage," providing some of the most brutal assessments of the commander in chief to date: "Dangerous." "Unfit." "No moral compass." "Doesn't know the difference between the truth and a lie."

Woodward's book paints a devastating portrait of Trump by those who worked in his inner circle. Former Defense Secretary James Mattis, former Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, all hired at the start of Trump's presidency, are quoted detailing their frustrations with Trump's inability to focus, their alarm over his refusal to accept facts or listen to experts, their fears over the consequences of his impulsive decision-making -- and one top official even suspected Russian President Vladimir Putin had something on Trump.

The book is filled with searing indictments of Trump. Mattis is quoted criticizing the President both for his chaotic process and ill-advised, go-it-alone policy decisions. When Trump says he wants to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan and South Korea, Mattis privately told Coats, "That's dangerous," Woodward reports. "The President has no moral compass."
Named sources are now talking, in case that hasn't been addressed. I can't say I'm surprised that John Kelly, who has already ruined his reputation to try to cover for a wife beater, isn't named.

Trump supporters: The very people your guy hired, the "best people", tell you that your guy is hot garbage and a threat to this country. He hired these people to work for his administration. They're not getting anything out of bashing their former employer.

The cult of Trump are a dangerous mix of ignorance and insanity.

Just and example - I live in a purple city within a red state - big city blue/red, with everywhere else red, so it usually goes red. I was at a sporting goods store, actually checking if something had arrived, and I heard a few people talking about ammunition shortages, and how they aren't just here, but across the country. One of the people there, dressed in a suit, holding his younger son, said "thanks Biden".

Trump's cult followers are beyond reason, perhaps forever, at this point.

While I have hope for November, and Trump being escorted out of the People's House, I fear for how we will ever recover.

We really need to start the painful process of placing education as a HIGH priority for this country. It literally saves lives.

If I ever hear someone say we need to vote another "businessman" into office because "he'll run the country well like a company" I'm taking off my shoe and clubbing them with it.
