We really need to start the painful process of placing education as a HIGH priority for this country. It literally saves lives.

Agreed. Unfortunately, education is typically community regulated (for usually good reasons), and that means that the ignorance and hatred and racism will continue to perculate through the generations.

The only way to really fix that is make schools federally run (which has ENORMOUS problems, even assuming it's done well) and require that every person who marries/procreates, must do so with someone not of the same color skin as themselves (which, of course, is impossible to mandate).
