Even that poll shows that he isn't even liked by 50% during his tenure. Most of this country still hates his orange spray-painted guts.

Seriously, Romney's one real item of worth was that he was one of the few Republicans who stuck to his values, regardless of the party's shifts.

And now, he's abandoned those values, for partisan allegiance.

Fuck him. He's no better than McConnell or Graham, at this point.

And before anyone says I just hate him because he's Republican, I welcome you digging through my posting history where I repeatedly mention him as one of the few Republicans I respected.

With Romney being the moral coward he's always been, the path to replace RBG by the GOP before the election is clear.

I think the Democrats should just shut up about any post election plans vis a vis the SCOTUS seat (i.e. packing the courts). It's not going to do any one any good, and the GOP is capitulating on the "crazy democrats" are going to "pack the courts" if they win. Right now, we just need to keep on pushing "Trump hurts America" and all the points that go with that, and wait till we [hopefully] win, THEN push the nuclear button.

    https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020...navirus-200000

Good news! The coronavirus hardly affects anyone! Young people have good genes, they're basically immune! Only old people die and they don't matter anyways! OPEN THE SCHOOLS!

How people can vote for a man who callously disregards over 200,000 Americans dead from the virus, with nearly 7 million confirmed cases that may still have longer term health impacts from it, while actively encouraging a return to schools despite multiple outbreaks that we've already seen from schools trying to return...

I mean, do Trump supporters just not give a shit about their fellow Americans at all or something? This is the second largest mass-casualty event in the US that's not war-related, behind only the 1918 flu pandemic. And the US is performing worse than almost every other developed nation in terms of metrics, to boot.

Unsurprisingly neither math or statistics are your strong suit. You should look up the words within the margin of error or statistically unchanged.

On the forums, the Trump supporters will lie to our faces, and sea-lion for days.

IRL, they've been resorting to a lot of sign stealing.

Biden supporters received letters in the mail calling them anti-American after their yard signs were stolen.

Finally found one that agreed with your echo chamber I see. The rest of us who understand math will wait for the aggregate polls. Shout if you have questions about those.

They are still running high. The only poll showing Trump approval rating on the plus side. Just not as plus as before.

Most Republicans are probably going to vote for him while pinching their nose.

Lol. Senator Josh Hawley, Missouri (R).

“I will vote only for those Supreme Court nominees who have explicitly acknowledged that Roe v. Wade is wrongly decided,” Hawley told the Washington Post in an interview. “By explicitly acknowledged, I mean on the record and before they were nominated.”

Statistically unchanged at 48% is essentially half the country...but I see that the crux of my point was lost on you.

Ok using smaller words for you, what was his number on their last poll? You can do it Tiny Tim.

So you don't even understand your own links...? That's not surprising, given your posting history.

That poll not only doesn't say what you think it does, it's not statistically significant, because it's not an aggregate. And don't even get me started with "statistically unchanged"....

The polls have been so consistent Biden across the board for months, I've never seen it this consistent ever. Either Biden is gonna win legitimately, or we'll have Belarus 2.0 where it's even more blatant and Trump get's California's EC votes.

edit-yes i'm being hyperbolic, my point is Trump ain't winning without massive cheating.

And this is typical of top-thinking average Trump supporters ("average" being those not in a financial position to gain from his ascendancy). They continue to seek out only that which backs what they've been told to think. If it disagrees with their echo-chamber, they fall into the Asimov-prophecised "my ignorance is equal to your facts".

    How do we fix that?

he wont need to cheat, just declare he won and use his new supreme court majority to stay in power, no point to any of this anymore. give up its all over.

The person responsible for "Stop and Frisk" is helping former felons in Florida vote in the 2020 election.

Bloomberg raises millions to help Florida felons vote

Just days after after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis won a court victory to keep felons from voting until they've paid off fines, restitution and court fees, billionaire Mike Bloomberg has stepped in to help them pay off the debts.

The former Democratic presidential candidate has helped raise more than $20 million so that felons who completed their prison sentences can vote in the presidential election. Bloomberg also has pledged $100 million to help Joe Biden win Florida.

“The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy and no American should be denied that right. Working together with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, we are determined to end disenfranchisement and the discrimination that has always driven it,” Bloomberg said in a written statement.

The Florida Rights Restitution Coalition had raised about $5 million before Bloomberg made calls to raise almost $17 million more, according to Bloomberg staffers.

The money is targeted for felons who registered to vote while the law was in question and who owe $1,500 or less. That accounts for about 31,100 people, the staffers said. In a state that decided the 2000 presidential election by 537 votes, that could be critical in a year when polls show Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden in a dead heat.

There was an article I linked awhile back showing that that's because it has never been this consistent for as far back as the data goes.

Well, Romney says he will vote in the Senate if a Supreme Court Justice replacement is brought to the floor.........https://www.cbsnews.com/news/mitt-ro...nee-this-year/

Washington — Republican Senator Mitt Romney of Utah indicated Tuesday he supports moving forward with consideration of a Supreme Court nominee during an election year, providing crucial backing to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as he proceeds with filling the vacancy on the high court just weeks before Election Day.

"The Constitution gives the President the power to nominate and the Senate the authority to provide advice and consent on Supreme Court nominees," Romney said in a statement. "Accordingly, I intend to follow the Constitution and precedent in considering the president's nominee. If the nominee reaches the Senate floor, I intend to vote based upon their qualifications."

Romney noted that the historical precedent of nominations made to the Supreme Court during an election year is for the Senate not to confirm the nominee put forth by the opposing party, but to confirm the pick of its own.

This is good shit, but the hardest part isn't the money: It's figuring out what fees former felons owe and how to get them all paid off. Apparently it's a confusing mess of awful because of course it is. Hoping enough can get their fees paid off to regain their Constitutional right to vote and will remember which party tried to keep them disenfranchised.
