You don't need to watch Biden stating his 2016 position on Youtube if that somehow violates your curation process. lol

I've already laid out the facts regarding Biden's 1992, 2016 and 2020 flip-flops on this issue. If you have contrary facts that refute this, now would be a good time to present them.

BREAKING: 824,452 Americans applied for *new* unemployment aid last week, signaling layoffs are still happening.

An add'l 630,080 applied for pandemic unemployment, the program for gig workers/self-employed.

26 million people are currently receiving some unemployment aid.

    Bad look for Trump's economy.

Really didn't look to me like the Democrats have any answer to this though.

Pretty easy electoral win if they just promise furlough payments for six months. Or UBI even better. But they aren't doing that even if though most other countries are. Which is yet more evidence that they are a Republican party with my little pony rhetoric.

What furlough payments? I’m heading back to work next week, from furlough... I got unemployment and my job payed my healthcare.

Oh and it’s for a year, not 6 months...

He explained the difference in that case. You have to go back to the 1800's to see a example of a Senate supporting a Supreme Court justice when the President is of the opposite party than the Senate is.

Lets get real, if the shoe was on the other foot, that is they controlled the Senate and the President now was a Democrat, they would do the same thing in a heart beat. You want to blame anyone, blame Harry Reid for starting it.

It’s Biden’s change of policy through 40 years, as an attempt to justify the shit Trump does on a daily basis.

Edit: Yes, Biden is on record for having issues with a lot of previous policy, like parts of his justice reform from the 90s, explicitly saying they miscalculated what would happen when the 3 strike rule is combined with the war on Drugs.

Even recently, after corona, Biden no longer supports a mandate, but increased taxes on the top to implement a buy in for Medicare.

The issue is not that Biden changed his mind, it’s justifying Trump’s day to day lying, in Biden’s growth through 40 years. The years Trump spent sending out No Disclosure agreements and chilling with Epstein.

You mean blame minority party Republicans from 2012 thru 2014 for filibustering every single judicial nominee to the federal courts, which actually started it?

Which was nothing new in politics.

    Some history on filibustering.....https://www.thoughtco.com/the-defini...buster-3367948

Sen. Strom Thurmond gave the longest filibuster in 1957 when he spoke for more than 24 hours against the Civil Rights Act. Sen. Huey Long would recite Shakespeare and read recipes to pass the time while filibustering in the 1930s.

Every fucking thread on here is a supporter of one evil plutocratic party arguing about how evil the other plutocratic party is. You sound like fucking children.

DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU THAT BOTH ARE EVIL. WHY IS THIS SUCH A DIFFICULT THING TO UNDERSTAND GIVEN THE HUGE AMOUNT OF SUPPORTING EVIDENCE?

Actually, it was fairly new... since... patriot act gave the president a lot more power and this was GOP freaking out, since Bush no longer wielded the executive order.

If Biden wins, I can only imagine the shit GOP will come up with, to curb the executive branch power they refused to curb over the last 3 years...
