I want the last 2 hours of my life back.
I feel stupider for having watched that.
I did like that Biden was taking absolutely no shit about his son Beau's military service though.
He appealed to conspiracy theorist and those who were leaning against Bernie policy... his goal seems to be to scare people of Medicare for all and defunding the police... making progressives a pariah, then forcing Biden to defend progressive policy he just demonized, instead of his own. Basically, scare away the undecided voters from Biden and at the same time discourage progressives from voting, hoping it’s enough to swing the democrat advantage in registered voters.

Honestly, this debate was everything I expected. The lunacy, insanity and outright babbling. And then there was Joe. I have a feeling that after this one, Trump won't want to do another one as he was told to shut up multiple times. In the morning, he will probably claim "They were being unfair and rude and I'll want no part of it and they forced me to be on!" even though he was the one who wanted them in the first place.

Fucking hell I hope that my earlier post is wrong and there's a rather sizable swing for Biden if this is remotely indicative of any remaining "undecideds".Republican consultant and pollster Frank Luntz asked his focus group to use one word to describe the president and basically "every single word was negative," observed Politico's Tim Alberta. One respondent from Wisconsin called Trump obnoxious and un-presidential, while a Pennsylvania voter said he behaved like a "crackhead." Others described the president as being "un-American" and "arrogant."

Just, be kind.
My main concern is that "I don't support the Green New Deal" will be the soundbite, and "I support the Biden Plan, which will generate millions of new jobs in clean energy and American manufacturing" will be completely forgotten, just like Hillary's comments about retraining coal miners for new economy careers.
i saw some people saying this is the worst thing they have seen on american tv which is a bit rich from the country that gave us 3 seasons of young sheldon
Trump's strategy to label Joe a secret agent of the far left was so hopelessly ineffective...
Trump: "He can't even say Law Enforcement"
Biden: "Law Enforcement."
Trump: "He just lost the left!"
... Really? This is what you're going with?
Biden is standing right there and can literally directly refute every false claim about his support for 1) antifa, 2) the green new deal, 3) violence, etc etc. This nonsense only tracks in the dumbest of right wing facebook group echo chambers.
I watched the debate on CNN. Saw a bit of the commentary afterword's. The debate itself didn't surprise me, what surprised me was how even Rick Santorum claimed how badly Trump failed tonight.
