I do think @Breccia made the right call insofar as this being critical damage for the regime; fascist leaders cannot afford to be seen as physically infirm, especially not falling prey to a mere illness that they spent months downplaying, denying, and mocking people for taking precautions against. Yeah, they are the "End the fucking world" planes, but we have them in the air all the time anyway, and there isn't an evidence those two were scrambled. If Pence actually has to step in, then expect them to relay the change in launch guidance to the SSBNs, but that certainly hasn't happened yet.
