"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.
Equality and Justice, that is how you have peace and a society that benefits all.

it seems like pence is winning this debate, even though my biased self wish it wasnt so,
kamala gives off really big hillary vibes, being very specific bringing up policies and consequences of policies, which just cant compete with pences emotional appeal, especiall on isis which is the one issue that probably caused trump to win.
i think if dems win in 2020, they just need to be able to indiscrimintely kill civilians to look tough, or people will elect a fascist who will anyways, like trump

No election would be close because the republicans would always win?

Dude, you know that this is the United States of america, where the word socialist still provokes fear on a sizeable amount of people, right? Right?

Y'all out here stating "the Democrats are really center right!" this like it's some well-kept secret and not something you learn about the United States in a POLSCI101 course. We get it.

The only novelty these days is that a bunch of teenagers on social media have suddenly decided that incrementalism doesn't work because they weren't paying attention in history class.

Oh, just because I know these are gonna be the talking points coming from the right wing and cosplay leftists after the debate, let's just get them out of the way now.

    - "She isn't likeable."
    - "She seemed angry."
    - "She didn't smile enough."
    - "She's being overly hostile."
    - "She was given softball questions by the moderator."
    - "Pence didn't do as badly as expected which means he won!"
Y'all really have not changed a lick from 2016, have you.

Well, sometimes a huuge swing works. But is extremely rare. One case is in Chile, last year, and even then the only big change was to the possible death of the Pinochet's constitution.

Nobody has any illusions that they're not - we just like complaining about it because being center-right is at best extremely lame and uncool, and at worst, extremely destructive to society and the world.

You say that like Dems **won't** indiscriminately kill civilians. Or did you miss Obama's presidency?

Not when you have people like Talcum X running your campaign and operate on a 30% appeal strategy rather than trying to build a broad coalition.

These clowns insist they have the secret to a winning coalition when they can't even lock up solid blue demographics. I'm really hoping they pick a new Ron Paul to stan so we don't have to pretend they're left wing anymore, tbh.

Realpolitik 101. Both of the main US parties in the US are right wing. One is center right (with some elements of the center and center-left, mostly because it's a big tent party), and the other is a proto-fascist, dominionist one.

    Choose one to work with.

I love how Pence says we're "changing the rules" like that isn't EXACTLY what you do when you're in power...

Someone should ask Pence how he feels about his boss shooting up with embryonic stem cells.
