Many on here handwave away when Democrats are hypocrite or have blatant have bad policies as "being political". When in reality if the Democratic party properly represented the working class no Election would even be close. The truth is Biden is a Conservative and always has been, and Kamala has always been a procorporate Democrat like majority of the party. Principles or even policy matters little to them, and they wonder how we even ended up with Trump in the first place.

You're incorrect if you think that a democrat winning the white house is as simple as them going "more socialism!" and then that the electorate will suddenly see the light and carry them on their shoulders to the oval office.

That's probably why they don't try that, and candidates that lean more into that tend to do quite poorly. I mean hell, Bernie couldn't even convince the democrats to vote for him. And you can complain that the democratic base isn't "truly progressive," but... what they are or are not on some political spectrum doesn't amount to a hill of beans if they won't vote for you. It's not like there's some silent, election-winning majority of "more progressive voters" just sitting around somewhere waiting for the "for realzies progressive candidate" to show up so they can sweep said candidate into the office of president in a landslide victory.

That's kind of the point. They're proving they're supporting their candidates and are able and willing to take over for them if need be--which is the primary reason for there being a Vice President.

Basically yes. They are not banning fracking but they are trying to eventually get carbon tax type stuff that will cause it to get phased out in a sensible fashion. It is a reasonable and logical way to attack the problem.

Hmm, it's almost like giving a shit about those voters would actually be beneficial then. We all know that every Biden voter would hold their nose and vote Bernie, so Dems only had voters to gain by electing him. And before people complain about "muh socialism", it really isn't the four-letter word that you all make it out to be these days, even among those who voted for Trump.

Bernie not being a Democrat was always a boon for him, not a negative. But I'm done trying to convince you all that Bernie was the superior candidate - you made your bed, now lay in it. It's not up to me to win this election, it's all on Biden and his campaign, so take it up with them if they lose.
