With that said, this is the person who is our president now. He loves our country so much that he worked and became its leader, tried to make it so great again for 4 years (and failed, miserably)...that he'll straight up leave this wonderful country (that he supposedly loves so much) as soon as he loses an election and is no longer in a position to keep himself out of legal trouble.

He is in SO much trouble the day he is no longer president.
I’m sure that if trump makes a run for it he’ll claim that it was because he feared Biden and Hillary and the radical left were going to have him killed. Which I doubt no one but rumps die-hard supporters will believe.

But they’ll be leaderless and without a friend in the political world, hopefully relegated to fade off into obscurity.

However, I’m not really sure how empowered anyone is to stop him. If he’s not immediately placed under arrest upon leaving office, he could probably charter a private plane and fly anywhere he wanted. It’d also be an exceptionally compromising position for anyone trying to stop him if he tried to leave while still president during his hypothetical lame duck session.

The republicans also don't want him fleeing the country. That would be disasterous for their party to have the man they sunk so much behind to bail on them, taking any farce of patriotism they claim to have with him.
nah, mussolini here in italy literally did this and still today there are fascists praising him as an honorable being
the same for craxi. people will claim that trump is somehow a political refugee

@Ghostpanther remember how you made fun of people for saying they will leave the country because Trump won? Any comment on our patriotic president saying he will leave, if he lost? That doesn’t seem very patriotic or MAGA... What country do you think Trump and his supporters will go to, to make America so great that they leave America after they are done? I have a guess...

Has there ever been a president that left the country so great after their term, they literally claim to leave if they lose?

The dude was good enough friends with Clinton’s, to have them at his wedding. Was living in the democrat bastion of NYC for over 70 years. But... less than 4 years of Trump’s own leadership, making America great in his image, he claims to want to leave. Is there any greater indictment of his own presidency, that he doesn’t even want to be here?

Well clearly he was only friends with the Clinton's so that he could get close to the pedophile ring, so that he could take it down. He was also a resident of NYC for the same reason, fighting against the coastal elites from the inside. And now finally with his presidency, showcasing the true face of the deep state; he left himself vulnerable, and if it hadn't been for the deep state, democrats, radical leftists and ANTIFA, he would have made America great, but them being brainwashed (by the deepstate and the liberal MSM) made his fight an uphill battle. So really, he is fleeing, an American hero leaving behind the country he tried to make great, but who was toppled by election fraud by the deep state; and they would imprison him and make him a slave to their cause, so his only cause of action is to flee and make another country great, untainted by the deep state and violent radical leftist ANTIFA.

I mean really, it all makes sense, if you just think about it for a bit

Sadly in the US, there's a stupid mythology involving the sanctity of Rural Voters.
    • Rural voters do not have any super wisdom that comes from their geography.
    • There's ALOT of Rural Cosplay. Priviledged nitwits from that pretend to be rural for online clout.
    • Are you really rural if you live within 20 miles of a Costco and an Arbys?

Remember, we need to keep the Electoral College, because under a national popular vote, candidates would IGNORE RURAL AREAS

Ron Johnson is now trying to claim that he saw child pornography on the laptop that supposedly had Hunter Biden's emails.
    ...
You know, the laptop that Giuliani supposedly had in his possession for several months before turning over this astonishing information.

The initial October surprise didn't do jack shit so now they're in "kitchen sink" mode.

It’s absurd that they think someone would be surprised, for something they were building years ago and got impeached over. I guess the stupid nature of their reveal is surprising...

Oh the irony of Ghostpanthers post.
The economy recovered just as fast after the last cluster fuck under Bush, but it was deemed a failure for Obama.

Please ghostpanther is the definition of "fuck you, i got mine" with the number of socialist govt benefits he has collected and will collect.
You can hardly name one he hasn't been part of.

And yet he votes against people in his situations interest knowing he will be dead before Medicare, SS, VA, etc etc go bankrupt or see a reduction in benefits.

or you know, he will somehow piviot it to being the fucking lubrals fault when he only gets 74% of his SS check in 2024.

U.S. retail sales accelerated in September, rounding out a strong quarter of economic activity, but the recovery from the COVID-19 recession is at a crossroads as government money runs out and companies continue to layoff workers.

New coronavirus cases are also surging across the country, which could lead to restrictions on businesses like restaurants, gyms and bars, and undercut consumer spending. The economy is already shifting into lower gear. Other data on Friday showed an unexpected drop in output at factories last month.

“Although sales growth is strong, it will slow through the rest of this year and into next year,” said Gus Faucher, chief economist at PNC Financial in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “The slowing will be even larger if Congress does not pass another stimulus bill. Unemployment remains pervasive throughout the U.S. economy.”

Retail sales jumped 1.9% last month as consumers bought motor vehicles and clothing, dined out and splashed out on hobbies. That followed an unrevised 0.6% increase in August.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast retail sales would rise 0.7% in September.

    good news isn't normally titled
U.S. retail sales blow expectations in September; dark clouds gathering
oh,and after the end of your quote
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast retail sales would rise 0.7% in September. Some said September’s surge was likely exaggerated by difficulties stripping seasonal fluctuations from the data after the shock caused by COVID-19. Unadjusted retail sales fell 2.8% after dropping 1.0% in August.

can you just stop posting like we're not gonna catch your dishonesty? Its insulting that you continue to try.

That's an interesting point - I guess they wouldn't really let him leave, would they? He has the right to round-the-clock Secret Service protection (those poor people - talk about heroes) and they are sworn federal officers. If NYState AG issued an arrest warrant, and got the DoJ to assist, I think his protection detail could arrest him.

I have always believed that Trump's unverified quote about "if he ran for president, it would be under the GOP, because they are the most gullible" actually happened...even though it has been debunked. I know that's pretty hypocritical of me, but still....
