Man, I'm getting antsy that I may need to show up in-person. Re-registered after moving but it apparently didn't go through, managed to catch it and re-register again just a few days before the deadline, confirming 100% that it was correct this time.
Now I'm just waiting on my ballot to arrive. Never actually voted in-person before, so if it ends up that I need to it will be a first. Sucks, because I'll have to do all the research on downballot candidates/measures and bring a cheat sheet to remember how I want to vote rather than be able to casually fill it out while eating dinner and watching Star Trek.
Looks like they found their replacement for But-Her-Emails!
Hunter Biden emails from debunked and too-stupid-to-be-carried-by-fox-news story seem to be the new alt-right-dipshit calling.
nothing yet @DocSavageFan? Must take a while to push out some more bullshit? Maybe more fiber? or too much?
Buh Byeeeeeeeeeeee !!
Yeah, see that's why you have to label your 24-hour challenges with "If you don't respond, I get to answer for you".
In other news: Trump demands the Committee change the topics of the third debate, by saying "the third debate is always about foreign policy".
*ahem*
Y'all canceled the second debate. Y'all decided not to do it. Y'already tried changing the topics. Now you get to answer whatever the Committee decides, because y'all didn't want to answer questions already.
And then, yes, Trump said the Committee was protecting Biden because of Biden's failures in foreign policy. Just before he negotiated with terrorists and North Korea, got laughed out of the UN, lost a trade war with China and broke any semblence of peace between Israel and Palestine.
There are a lot of groups that have good informative voter guides. I use some, usually from the League of Women Voters as they do a ton of great work both nationally and locally on these types of issues (and my retired mother is working with her local chapter). I don't know who the hell the Comptroller General is or who candidates for local school boards or waste management are, ain't nobody ever heard of them.

They have some good information and suggested voting on the bigger ballot measures in CA (there should be a LWV site for each state).
https://votersedge.org/en/ca
And assuming there's one of these for each state as well with more info on candidates (including local) and ballot measures.
I'm actually laughing right now.
As translated by xmirrors: "We want to know the exact topic beforehand so I can rehearse my talking points and not be caught with my pants down, unable to answer a direct question, because I'm a blithering, uninformed, useless idiot. Please and thank you."

Might want to check that, I have no idea where in CA you are but I figured better safe than sorry in keeping people informed about the arson that was committed on an official ballot box on Sunday in LA.
I'm Joe Biden and I forgot this message.
Um, to be fair, both camps are told the topics. Not the exact questions, the topics.
Which is why Trump is fucking terrified.
Damn. That's kicking someone when they're down, then stabbing them.Welker announced that the topics of the debate would be fighting the coronavirus pandemic, American families, race in America, climate change, national security, and leadership.
Again, Trump has lost any authority to change the topics. He voluntarily ended the second debate. It doesn't matter what he claims he and the Committee agreed to anymore.Biden’s campaign, however, says that there was a prior agreement that the moderator would select the topics and that the Trump campaign is lying so that Trump could sidestep questions about his administration’s “disastrous” response to the coronavirus pandemic.
"The campaigns and the Commission agreed months ago that the debate moderator would choose the topics,” said national press secretary TJ Ducklo. “The Trump campaign is lying about that now because Donald Trump is afraid to face more questions about his disastrous COVID response. As usual, the president is more concerned with the rules of a debate than he is getting a nation in crisis the help it needs."
It must truly be a horror show for Trump to know he's going to face consequences for all his actions, and that he can't stop it. He could walk away from this one, too, I guess, but he's down in every poll. Biden's ahead by 10 and has been for two weeks. The debate is free advertising, if you have a message you can sell.
There are three debates. Trump lost the first to Biden and the second to himself. To get a trifecta, he either has to lose the third to the Committee, the mordeator, or the Philadelphia Eagles.
"The fuck?"
Look they're 1-4-1, I'll take any win they can get.

I asked you for a citation that Giuliani/Bannon were, in fact, one of the corroborating sources as you specifically asserted. Thank you for admitting that you were speculating. If you felt I was being condescending by asking you to back up your assertion with fact, please know that was not my intent.

“Given the president’s position in our constitutional structure, his role in communicating with the public is especially significant,” the Justice Department wrote, adding, “The president’s statements fall within the scope of his employment for multiple reasons.”
In the world of President Trump, denying a rape allegation is now a part of a presidents official job description and worthy of having taxpayer funded government lawyers defend him on.
This is Trump's America. This is the future Republicans apparently want, taxpayers being forced to pay for the legal defense of alleged rapists. And not just an overworked public defender juggling 50 cases with approximately 5 minutes to familiarize themselves with a case before argument. No, having a proper legal team of well supported and funded lawyers.
