Probably doesn't help that Trump's team is full of grifters. Everyone is grabbing what money they can whether they deliver results or not. Money is just vanishing into black holes with no accountability at all.

So is Trump's track record going to be him being beaten over the head by North Korea, or is it him being endorsed by the taliban?

Or inviting the Taliban to Camp David on 9/11. Or starting a trade war with China and losing horribly. Or alienating every ally the US has while cozying up to various dictators.

It makes me all the more interested in what Trump's resigned campaign manager, who recently had the mental break-down, got away with and what he's about to be indicted for.

Trump raised a $1.2B coffer starting seconds after he took office, and he's pissed it away - and now the campaign is functionally broke.

But hopefully Trump will make the mistake of repeating "what he didn't say" so that viewers can hear him say it. It's a classic faux pau in political debate - you never want to repeat what you were misquoted in by your opponent.

In addition to Trump using it to enrich himself, all of those grifters he employed likely skimmed as much money as possible.

I mean, how hard could he come down on any of them individually? They could just blow the lid off the whole scheme at that point.

I’m thinking of watching Trump interrupt Biden from the last debate, while muted... I want to see if it looks as idiotic as I think...

Maybe his campaign will make him a bunch of extra-large note cards written in sharpie and ask him to just say that and field any rebuttals with his usual litany of generic "nope, wrong... fake news." It's probably the most coherent thing Trump could hope for.

Whether he does that or not he would stick to that is anyone's guess, of course.

This really is a fuckin cult.

I guess Trump is "Superman" for recovering in a matter of days with a team of doctors and experimental therapies derived from research using fetal stem cells.

Fuck the millions of other Americans that have had bad cases and survived. They're not Supermen or Superwomen?

I'm considering watching the last debate and just muting it whenever Trump talks.

They truly are just horrific. In Trump they found a place for their racism, hatred, general vitriol, and the general "my opinions are the same as your facts" mentality we see in Trump Cult Followers.

This is incredible to me. We know SS needs some restructuring so that it will work as intended, as it was never designed to function with people living this long and a crush of people drawing on it at once.

Biden's proposal MAY RAISE TAXES ON MORE THAN JUST THE RICH THOUGH! PANIC!

Under Biden’s plan, income above $400,000 would be subject to the 12.4 percent Social Security tax, which would be split evenly between employees and employers. Currently, there is a wage cap of $137,700. Wages between those two ranges would not be taxed.

However, as noted in an analysis conducted by the Urban Institute, that gap would be closed in about three decades because the plan does not index the second-contribution threshold to inflation.
And there are only three decades to come up with a solution to address the problem! BUT HE'LL RAISE SOCIAL SECURITY TAXES ON THE MIDDLE CLASS IN THIRTY YEARS WELL AFTER HE IS DEAD!

They're having to reach far to find an angle to attack Biden on, this is pathetic.

Well then maybe Trump should't have fled like a whiny little bitch from the town hall, and answered questions on the topics at the time. Funny story, when Trump caught COVID, infected other people with COVID, killed someone with COVID, he should probably be expected to talk about COVID. This isn't a fucking game show where you can pass on a question, this is "winner runs the country which is experiencing a lethal pandemic".

Also, wasn't Trump "America First and Only America First"? I think a Trump supporter should not want to hear about foreign policy. In fact, let's hear you say it, right now. Or, you can admit "America First and Only America First" is a bad slogan and Trump shouldn't have run with it. I mean, you have those two choices. But until you pick one or the other, your opinion is irrelevant. Prove you're not a hypocirte first, then we'll talk.

Will that be more, or less, of a tax raise than the tariffs Trump unilaterally imposed? Asking for a fat orange hypocrite.

    Are you okay?

What is it you want to hear me say? I would like foreign policy to be a debate topic. I expect the president of the U.S. to put this country first. Are these the statements you believe to be hypocritical?

Okay I found some more info.

    1) The head of Trump's campaign, I mean, the new head of Trump's campaign, the one who probably doesn't beat his wife, claims that the Committee, Biden's campaign and Trump's campaign discussed the topics. He has nothing in writing, and expects to be taken at his word.

    2) Meanwhile both the Committee and Biden's campaign have said that the moderator gets to choose the questions.

    3) Trump knows who the moderator is and has already begun attacking her at his rallies.

She's been screaming questions at me for a long time, and she's no good,
I'm modestly confident that Trump has not attacked each of the three moderators before the debate they hosted.

    4) In the more likely case that Trump is lying and Biden is not, the topics and the mic muting are very likely now set in stone. Trump changed the rules, twice, once by not following the rules and SHOUTING OVER EVERYTHING, the second time by fleeing from the town hall like a whiny little bitch. I think the Committee is done setting things up, I think they owe Trump nothing, I think the reverse is true and they're sick of his shit, and while I can't find "fuck, no!" in actual writing yet, I think that's basically the intent here.

Trump can always run away from this one too, probably sobbing in hysterical fear. That's his choice. But I don't think he'll get the rule changes he wants. And I think those cameras will be live as he screams his face a darker orange into a muted mic.

I feel bad for Fauci I really do. The guy never had politics in his mind, he's just doing what he can to help see us through this pandemic. But Trump treats him like shit. Maybe if Biden wins he can put Fauci on the coronavirus task force and start depoliticizing some of this shit (though a lot of the damage is already done.)

The fact that Trump has seemingly recovered the way he has is an indictment of the American medical system. If an Adderall-snorting, fast food-gorging, spray tan-encased, obese man in his late 70’s can survive this infection, then our death count should be microscopic compared to what it currently is. But no, Trump has access to better care just because.
