GOP only did it originally, just as a ‘no’ yo Hillary care... they never really invested any political capital into it, other than being opposition to democrat plan. It’s why they never had to deal with death panels or the “you lied” bullshit or even getting enough votes to pass it. ACA was pretty much calling the GOP bluff and they responded by flipping the table.

I'm saying that hurting others is in the nature of the Republican Party and expecting them to do otherwise is as foolish as a frog agreeing to give a scorpion a ride across a river.

Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton raised questions Monday about the state’s COVID-19 numbers.

“Now they are using more probable cases, which means there are more people they are using inactive who are not really active,” said the speaker during a Republican bus tour. “In July, it was one out of 100 that were considered probable. Today it’s one out of 10. We think those numbers are a little overblown based on whose probable and not active. We need to focus on the actives.”

I get it... I guess I should have responded to the person you did... I thought it would flow better this way...

I'm hoping a lot - most of the things Trump has tried to do have actually failed. As @Breccia points out many times, Trump has about a 7-8% success rate in the courts when he attempts to undo something Obama did (which are pretty much all of Trump's EO's) and it's because he and his staff are epically unprepared for defending Dipshit-in-Chief's whims.

So one of things I'm kind of wondering is how many things are there to unwind.

Yeah, good point. I just want to hold out some hope that even a handful of Republican Senators and Congresspeople learn from the vitriol of McTrump and his Insane Cult Followers.

Because urban development does pay for its servicing through property taxes. And more; it has to make up the shortfalls created by suburbia.

How do you get an accurate poll with such a little pool? Your margin would have to be huge to mean anything.

The last poll that I saw, for the military at least, showed that Biden was winning the military vote. That was before the RNC and DNC, and before his covid diagnosis though. This was also before the Atlantic piece about Trump hating dead soldiers and current Troops.

Of course he does. No matter how much evidence you shove in his face, he will ignore it.

Yeah, I think the last Rasmussen poll for the whole country, had Biden up 12, but that was like 2 weeks ago. Apparently their latest one was from the 14th for national, has Biden up 5.

She's not up for reelection until 2024, but Feinstein is losing Democratic allies after her performance with Graham. Tiny, tiny little violins.

I think people forget that Feinstein has long been a pretty conservative Democrat, overall. She and Graham are allies, because they both want more military spending.

1000 is definitely a small sample size, especially if 375 of those are online. It's not awesome.

We need to get these fucking boomers out of our decision making process. I'm tired of the "got mine, don't give a shit about yours" attitude.

If you don't want to follow the link (and I'm gonna abide by site rules and not go further than a link); Trump meets nearly every single Biblical descriptor of the Antichrist. Like, moreso than nearly any other world leader in history.
Hah, yeah, I was wondering when exactly someone was going to notice that.

Think about this for a second, she's been a senator since before any gen z'ers and many millennials were even born.

Odd thing is. Most of 50 Cent's songs are about his dick. People know more things about his dick than Jeffery Toobin's.

    Somehow, WAP causes more controversy.
They know about dick. Lots of republicans do. On vacation, in bathroom stalls, lots of them know ALL about dick. Reservoir Dogs Madonna speech levels of "dick dick dick".

He's the most likely candidate, and after two terms of CA Governor, he'll be itching for a new post. Newsome could go all the way. He might have been a VP candidate for [hopefully] Presidential candidate Harris, but won't because they are both from CA.
