Is it really so surprising? I'm not a huge fan of Cohen but what he does takes a decent amount of talent, intelligence and craftsmanship. Project Veritas just makes shit up and throws it at the wall to see what sticks. The only reason they ever gain any real traction is because a non-insignificant portion of the population will believe fucking annnnnything as long as it paints people they perceive as enemies in a poor light.
