"In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate. The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials," Fauci said in a statement Sunday.

Reminder that Trump is weaponizing the coronavirus and Dr. Fauchi for partisan political purposes and using his comments without his approval and without context. These are public comments so one can argue they don't need his approval for use, but it's pretty obvious that they didn't get his approval because they knew he wouldn't sign off on them intentionally misrepresenting his words.

The way things are going the GOP is going to lose the Senate.
They'll blame Trump, but most of the blame belongs to McConnell...

    Dumb fuck.

Apparently, the old man needed to be put in his place because being concerned about the existential threat of climate change isn't a "rational political view." It's clearly not possible to worry about the homeless and incarcerated while worrying about the threat Republicans pose at the same time.

Furthermore, it's obnoxious that it's fashionable for accelerationists to try to convince people that Democrats are the true evil in the U.S. while hawking their wares on Paetron. Insufferable frauds the lot of them.

Probably shouldn't have backed him for four years without question, huh?

On topic: two Team Trump campaign people, Steve Cortes and Corey Lewandowski, are apparently on the same page, suggesting that Team Trump has handed out marching orders with new talking points.

These relate to polls. Specifically, how every single poll that's being conducted is wrong. Except theirs.

This is how some pollsters are skewing the resultsl. They don’t want their polls to face scrutiny, so they won’t give us the crosstabs or the partisan makeup of the polls, thereby skewing the results.

Couple that with the endorsements this president is receiving from the law enforcement community, and the increase in the African American vote he’s going to receive this cycle, compared to where he was just four years ago, and it’s becoming mathematically almost impossible for Joe Biden to win this campaign.
I think polls matter. We pay some attention to them. It’s very critical to look at the inputs into these polls because the inputs often determine the final output numbers. And many of these polls — I haven’t looked at this one yet specifically, but many of these polls have massive oversampling of Democrats.
    "Which one said--"

It doesn't matter, and you will guess correctly anyhow.

This is, of course, an attempt to keep the rabid fanbase from being demoralized. I mean, even more than they already are, crying into their single scoop of ice cream each night after pretending to back someone they know is a lying loser adulterer thief mass murderer. No, the idea is to convince the rabid fanbase about this myth of the great silent majority that, somehow, still leaves mostly empty seats at Trump rallies.

If people are convinced their candidate is going to lose no matter what, some will still vote on principle, but others will just be SAD! and stay home. Obviously, for someone 10, 12, whatever points behind, that's adding morbid obesity to bone spurs. So, yes, they have to pretend every single poll -- yes, including FOX News, yes, including Rasmussen -- is somehow wrong by ten percent or more, but they have the real answers. They also have to pretend the polls are rigged, that they're intentionally not asking as many Trump supporters...and not, you know, that fewer and fewer people are Trump supporters. Because they fled the party in disgust. Felt betrayed by the dozens of Trump's broken promises. Or died.

Oh, and the "the polls don't show the breakdown" is of course false. Everyone here knows it's false.

"It's okay, everyone else will be right behind you!" is what you tell the first round of cannon fodder while the officers eat tea and biscuits back in the bunker. Or flee.

I'd imagine that whatever micro state winds up with either Siskiyou or Modoc county would be the poorest... guess its a toss-up depending if you go by poorest-per capita or poorest-by-household.

Poorest-by-stoplights, would be a toss-up between Modoc and Trinity for sure

For the record i am completely neutral my sole objective is predicting the winner (been correct since 04). My metric is silly and simple: yard signs. I look at the coverage of yard signs in a state to predict the victor. They are the best standard imop. Sadly it looks like trump lost this time around due to arizona, michigan, and pennsylvania.
So, you think yard signs are a big thing when you have Trump supporters LITERALLY light Biden signs and stuff on fire?

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-set-FIRE.html

They caught the guy, thankfully, but when Trump supporters are willing to carry out terrorist attacks like they were planning with the kidnapping of Governor Whitmer, I wouldn't want any sign in my yard, especially for Biden.

Dropped off my ballot at Ramona Public Library at 3:30 today. There was a security guard and two ladies by the box making sure the envelopes were properly signed and dated. According to one of the ladies, they were on their eight ballot box with two spares. So they were glad that it was almost 4:00. They planned to bring 14 boxes tomorrow.

RIP my NPA registration. Re-registered after moving and finally just registered as a Democrat. Now I won't have to fuck around with requesting primary ballots and I guess I won't be viewed as a spy if I ever go back to my local Democrat meeting...which is mostly a bunch of nice older retirees which made their suspicion of me oddly charming and quaint.
Talking about CA 50th district, Issa and Najjar have agreed to a debate on Saturday (Oct. 17). I don't think any GOP candidates in the last 50 years in this district ever felt the need to debate their Democratic opponents.

I don’t care if they blame Xenu and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It’s important for them to lose it.

Hell, if they aren’t sure why they lost, it might mean it’s that more difficult for them to surmount any sort of comeback. Though I’m pretty sure, should Biden win, blame will start flying fast and loose around the Republican Party.

Good news is that re infection events that are serious enough to warrant hospitalization are extremely rare, it seems.

Expect the Republican Party (sans Trump) to try and reinvent themselves a la the Tea Party. And pretend none of them ever really liked Trump.

It literally does not matter. He could be braindead and I'd vote for him because that would still be better than the damage Trump is causing to America both internally and on the global stage.

You are trying so FUCKING hard, it is cute. Meanwhile, Trump is having mood swings and says shit like airports during the revolutionary war, over 100 years before the plane was even invented.

I saw that pop on Faux "News" and knew you'd post it. So delightfully predictable.

That "video" is so edited it's unbelievable. Pathetic this is all you Trumpkins have now.

But we know that the concern troll peddling the edited video in this thread knew that. But they're so morally bankrupt that it doesn't matter.
