Not that it will matter. Republicans will likely control the Senate and McConnell ain't pushing a M4A plan through. And I honestly don't even know if there are the votes in the House for it, Reps. vote their constituency, and not all their constituencies will want M4A.

On this, no. But in general, it remains the most progressive state that leads the way on a range of issues.

And I'm all for replacing the CA head of the NAACP given her conflict of interest with her consulting firm. That's gross nonsense.

Easy, because it is not a core progressive policy and is still fairly new territory to most voters (the gig economy is still new), and having the pro-Prop 22 camp dump $150M+ into it and get the endorsements of groups like the CA NAACP and MADD (single issue group) helps them.

I disagree here. It may go away, but it's a building block towards M4A.

Slowly chip away at insurance companies and strengthen the ACA, continuing to expand access and tighten the screws on insurance company profits while improving the quality of plans and reducing the overhead. Far smarter people than I are already working on this.

Americans are sick and tired of establishment politicians in either party who work hand in glove to continuously fuck over working class people while giving socialist handouts to corporations whenever they ask. Look at how quickly the House and Senate passed a bailout to corporations at the start of the pandemic and how they STILL won't help the rest of us while millions have lost their jobs and are being evicted. You can say "well that's because of Republican obstruction" all you want, but people still blame corporate neoliberals for getting us into this situation by being an absolutely toothless opposition at the behest of their corporate donors who also fund Republicans. It's not a coincidence that candidates who don't take corporate donations also overwhelmingly support single payer healthcare.
Ha you think Trumpists think and act that deeply? No its pretty obvious they don't.

Its a personality cult nothing more nothing less.

It knows what it likes and what it hates, and it likes Trump and hates people like you or me.

These people aren't going to be convinced by policies because their votes are not policy based.

The Lincoln Project announces their NEW agenda.

Senior advisor, Michael Steele, announces their plans to “resurrect the Republican Party in a way that it could become a governing majority in the future.”

“Those principles and those ideals we espouse...to me, still matter.”

So why is it lasting this long after voting closes to see who wins?

I'm not talking about Republicans or Trump supporters, I'm not a delusional liberal who thinks Democrats can win over Republicans by throwing money at the Lincoln Project.

As a resident of North Carolina, I thank you for your work and the risks you took. I just wish our voters and our legislature could stop being such an embarrassment and a disappoint to our families, our nation, and the history books.

Trump honestly shouldn't have gotten in 20% of the vote if weren't so fucked in the head, not only that, we re-elected Tillis after he decided to let someone off the hook for bribery, extortion, and trying to get a foreign nation to interfere in our elections and we even got him on recording talking if Clinton had won he would do what he could to make sure never to fill a seat for the next 4 years.

Really, our state feels like it has been nothing but a disappointment for as long as I can remember.

to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

Biden has now won more votes than any Presidential candidate ever ever ever.

Because that's how population growth and motivation work.

The current tally is 70 million.

Well the ones trying to storm a vote counting station in a democratic stronghold literally are Nazi's.

Its what they did in the 1930's and its what these Nazi's are doing now.

We have way more mail in votes than previous elections. As well as a higher than ever voter turn out. It is going to take some time. This should have been expected.

Because a lot of the races are still very close and dependent on mail-in ballots of which there were a lot. Plus, in many states, mail-in ballots are not allowed to be counted until election day so the fact that they were turned in early doesn't mean they were counted early.

The Lincoln Project was always a far-right conservative thing. This isn't news to anyone who was paying any attention to anything. The only difference was that they were Bush-era Republicans and decided to take a stand against Trump.

It isn't a "new Agenda" at all. It's always been their agenda.

Hence why I never donated to them : P

I mean, that's a nice video that got him blocked, but I'd hope most of us were well aware that these were hardcore Republicans that were only temporary allies in removing Trump (and getting a paycheck since no Republican will hire them right now) and wouldn't be happy and able to achieve an erection unless they knew we were spending tens of millions of dollars to bomb poor brown people for their oil.
