The VP is in charge of the Senate. Its their show (you're right that they don't vote). As in Harris could tell McConnell to go sit down if she wants to. She will have actual Constitutional authority over the Senate, his is only tradition. Modern VPs tend to hang around the WH though because no one really wants to hang out with the Senate all day.

Then couldn't she just basically spend all session in the Senate and whenever McConnell tries to bring up anything without first bringing up house bills to vote, could she effectively tell him to sit down and shut up? And basically shut him down that way until he does his job?

Of course that would make her look bad to an extent but she could actually use that to their advantage on a few things.

Let them try. It would annihilate Trump's cult politically. It would force Republicans to disavow them and even crack down on them with real, actual force. They'd be branded as domestic terrorists forever. Biden hiding in a bunker would just make him look like a coward.

The newest Q thing is 12 days or something until the doj can act, and as soon as biden says he won that means hes committed a crime and he can be arrested. So trump losing was all part of the plan.

The fact that Trump didn't do anything that wasn't for his base doesn't mean he's not your President. This line of thinking leads to the "What have you done for me lately?" view which is just incorrect. The President is not obligated to do anything that particularly benefits you, or any group of people really. The fact that Trump didn't do anything "for" people outside his base doesn't mean he still isn't those people's President. They still have power over him, they are still affected by his decisions even if negatively, he is still their President.

He's just not representing their interests. But by that logic, the President (no matter who they are) can never be the President of the whole country, since he will always not represent someone. And that's just silliness.

Trump was president in about the same way a deadbeat dad is a father.

And to anyone claims that him or the Republicans represent the American people, if the majority voted against you, you don't represent them, you are oppressing them and going against their will.

Nah, tea party was about chilling with spending. It's when Palin became leader of it that it started going crazy. I do think the media is more to blame for our political situation than the politicians themselves even though Trump did take full advantage of it.

I agree with your post up till this point. But I also blame facebook and social media outside actually as equally responsible for our political situation, mostly because of the platform and reach these two have given the crazies. As for the rest of your post, idk man. Someone calls you a trump supporter and your not fine. but someone calls you a trump supporter and your response to then actually support and defend trump, than it's not the accuser who's to blame. Like I get some people getting turned off by being accused of being something they're not, but it's their choice to become what they are being accused of.
