"The web" didn't have cartoons on it when I grew up.

Did most my growing in the 90's, so by the era of Newgrounds I was already a teen. Egoraptor's Awesome-stuff went a long way and was the reason why I one day checked out his Game Grumps show.
Now you see it. Now you don't.

    But was where Dalaran?

I wouldn't know. When I was 17 the internet still was provided through phones and just to hit nipple on a full frontal took about 45 seconds to a minute. So in those early days my mind wasn't to focused on web cartoons. Something that my generation missed because you really had to pick and choose.

I remember when we switched from black & white to *color* TV! Erm, vacuum tubes are still a thing, right?
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.

Hey one could still find around some black & white televisions in the 80's.

But yes Vacuum tubes are indeed still a thing, at least in some amplifiers for enthusiasts audiophile.

I remember the small TV we had in eating area of the kitchen where we had dinner was black and white still and that was like 1983 or so. I think the old man had it since the 60s. They don't build them like that anymore.

Didn't grow up on the web, I grew up on Saturday morning cartoons, and saw a concept like the internet go from being the thing only basement dwelling nerds were into, become the leading source of entertainment and communication
