If they added vendor with corruptions where you could buy anything you want and people would have equal gear, then what would you blame when you lose in pvp? Be happy there is something you can blame when you get smashed.

There is always something. Legendaries, pve trinkets, imbalanced classes. When pvp was fairly equal and mostly about skill instead of gear (see: templates in legion) people where crying their eyes out that their gear that they've worked so hard on, killing scripted pve bosses is useless there, that blizzard decided to take a step back and re-introduce skill>gear.

Because in the end, MMMORPG pvp needs to be gear/time put in before skill. You want skill driven PVP then go play moba's or FPS, or something.

No luck with corruptions? Don't worry, maybe next season (or even later this season) RNG gods may favour you and grant you some BS op corruption/weapon drop/etc. and you will forget about bad blizzard not giving you toys for quite some time (Well, until you keep on smashing other people with worse gear that is, giving you illusion of superiority).

All corruption effects should be outright disabled in PvP.

Gushing wounds is hardly a problem since its just a dot that barely applys any pressure.

If you have a 440 piece with it, sure. But if you're rolling around with 3-4 stacks of the corruption on 465+ gear because you're either very lucky or very rich, then it'll do a shit load of damage.

This. I can't fathom how blizzard can be so revered by the gaming community and yet be so bafflingly incompetent. It should have been obvious from the very first design meeting about the feature that it have no place in pvp.
