yeah, give me 19 bot so i can farm easily current mythic raid FFS !!
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
yeah and? So since you can already buy yourself to boosts in m+ and mythic raids, Blizzard should just add it into the core game?
Maybe a good idea. They were to lazy to crack down on gold selling, so they decided to make buying gold legal. So instead of trying to stop the blatant advertisement in trade & lfg channel for boosts(that more or less are bought by real money), they can just give us bots we can buy. 100 dollars, you get a mythic clear!
It’s less a matter of socializing and more a matter of scheduling. It was less of an issue back when I was in college and was spending ridiculous amounts of time in game, helping guildies, putting groups together, joining pugs pre-LFR, etc.
Nowadays I prefer content that I can log on, start, and finish within 30-60min with no waiting and no commitment to other players. The latter part is important to me. WoW will NEVER take precedence over anything else I have to do and I don’t like leaving people hanging if I have to go afk or log for one reason or another.
People seem to think us solo players just want gear handed to us, but that isn’t the case. I think the recent trend of challenging solo content (Mage Tower and Visions) has been a good direction for the game and I look forward to seeing what we get in SL.
Right, so we're talking arbitrary lines in the sand.
Some questions I have then to get a better idea on how you think:
Why should 5 man content be solo?
Do you think, if the community gets 5 man content, they'll eventually want to remove the restrictions on raids, too?
Would M+ be forced group still?
If not, what makes m+ different enough in your mind to warrant not getting solo treatment?
or you dont notice that problem because you are part of toxic crowd yourself and dont want to loose that "power" you hold over them atm.
look at visions - people are perfeckly happy runing them solo for milionth time - when nothing is stoping them from grouping up
where is reason for that if not extreme toxicity of wow playerbase
same will be with thorgast
Happy to run visions?
You are forced to run them to get cloak upgrades. There's lots of people in Visions on alts for that reason.
I just did a /who vision on Area 52 horde. 50+ people running it. But only like 15 have current raider.io scores. The rest are alts working on cloaks. And probably some of those mains are working on cloaks too. Some of those 15 are probably selling runs too.
Also, I just checked twitch and I don't see anyone streaming Visions.
Running them a MILLION times? Really?
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.
Actually seems like a bit of an unneeded point right now because WoW is already moving into more solo friendly content. Blizz has seen the success of Horrific Visions and taken it as a positive sign to move ahead with Torghast, which should be even better. Obviously a ton of people are looking forward to that next expansion as it seems to be taking front stage.
Ideally, a system I could see working is Raids for large groups, Mythic+ for small groups, and stuff like Torghast for solo players. They all reward gear and what not, but the difficulty increases with the less amount of players you have with you, being most difficult in solo content for the same itemlevel gear.
I would have preferred seeing 470 gear from HV a bit harder to get, seeing as just about anyone should be able to clear a 5 mask run now. But it's also balanced around the fact that HV gear only drops for a select few slots, and only 1 piece of gear per item level per week. Hopefully Torghast will have some different amazing rewards.
They don't tell that to me, they tell that to the tank. I'm usually the healer. Still it annoys me because i don't like rushing through a dungeon and always acting as if there is some invisible time limit.
Everyone just runs shortcuts and is evading everything and i wonder why they even play the dungeon it they hate it so much that they skip 60% of it. I see the necessity in Mythic+ but not in heroics. I had more fun in dungeons the way they were played before the introduction if M+ (tbh i liked the classic/TBC dungeon gameplay the most with cc'ing and planned pulls and stuff).
and it isnt 100%. you can still go around and do stuff on your own....

The problem sits in front of YOUR monitor. You dont wanna play with people BUT you want all the goods... why not play something like diablo? thats 100% soloable and just when you want it you play with someone else. WoW was always intented as a GROUP game. deal with it or play something else.
This game doesnt have to be ruined so that EVERY Joe is happy.

because its a mmo and not diablo. go play diablo and be happy but stop trying to ruin a mmo
