ITT - people who don’t realize point per corruption values. Look at your particular class corruption sims. Some of these R3 stat ones give more dps per corruption point than infinite stars and the like.

I’m just stating my personal opinion that ranks should determine the cost, not the corruption amount. Whether that means higher cost on stat ones or lower cost on proc ones, it just seems more fair.
Can't agree here. I do not view rank 3 stats with the same weight as rank 3 TA/IS. Just because some specs will overstack specific stats does not make them universally useful.

Cost per corruption point is far more effective in keeping things neutral. At least that way the main argument is that Rank 3 stats are too much dps for their corruption cost.

Still nothing that I want. Why can't they make the list bigger so there's more chances you'll get what you want? To keep us subbed and wait for weeks?

Yea and DPS per corruption point for specific classes is a terrible way to evaluate cost for purchasable corruptions. If people want to argue that corruption values are too low for R3 stats that's a fair argument, if anyone tries to argue the corruption values are fine but the cost of purchasing them from MOTHER isn't then that's some backwards ass logic.

I literally don't see any other point. Ofc they could put all corruption up at once. Why else would they do it other to keep you in the game longer?. Well...on the other hand..are you stuck in progression at a certain boss and think you can only beat it if all your team gets the best corruption or why do you target a specific corruption (I hope that getting a rank 3 TD might finally push me to a 5 mask clear personally, but I wouldn't quit the game anyhow...still doing stuff outside of that)

Why the HELL is the vendor random seriously ? I dont understand the people at blizzard, RNG in EVERY FU THING. Casters can destroy bosses with expedient/masterfull and here I am waiting for severe.......

I guess I can understand what you are saying, but then it’s not equal regardless. Let’s look at the first rotation. Expedient R3 costs 5k a piece for 20 corruption per. Twisted Appendage cost 13.2k for 66 corruption. Therefore, buying 3 Expedient R3 costs me 1.8k more for less corruption.
Like I said, I can understand the point some people are making, but the values still aren’t equal and, just personal opinion, should be charged the same based on ranks, not corruption level. Just make all R3 cost 5k, R2 cost 3k, and R1 cost 1k. I understand some people that value the less corruption ones would be upset, but 5k is a lot easier to save up for than 13.2 k, especially if you’re hunting for high ranks for things like m+, PvP, or raiding.

True, but at least it rotates twice a week. Definitely understand where you’re coming from. I’m waiting for Severe to pop up as well.

what Progression? Progression is over for 4 months and if you didnt clear mythic by now no corruption in world will help you its a 100% l2p issue

I think the guy I quoted would have to ask this. Honestly you do not get to decide for everyone when "progression" is over and what it means for every individual guild.

wowprogress is updated daily and even a guild going from 12 / 12 HM to 1/12 mythic is progressing. Obviously not everyone learns at the same rate and yeah..it is a l2p issues...hence the 100 guilds on Alliance side needed 1 month longer to fill the hall of fame than Horde.

I really have zero idea what you are trying to convey here. People will not just throw the hands in the air and go "Oh....Method cleared this shit 4 months ago, so no point for me to do it". In fact expect wowprogress to be updated daily with more and more guilds advancing towards 12 / 12 mythic.

Yea I'm not exactly happy the base echoes per corruption point fluctuates between corruption affixes. I'd rather they have 200 as the same base throughout (which would make R3 stats 4k) rather than this stupid 200-300 depending on which corruption it is.

I understand where people are coming from wanting it just a fixed price for r1/2/3 but like I say I side more with Blizzard on their general structure. There is however an overabundance of "what about mages and the mastery stacking?!?!?!" almost every time we have any corruption talks here. I'm not saying it's not a ridiculous situation but people really need to realise that is way more about how absolutely fucked mage class design is right now than it is a corruption affix problem.

The stat buff ones are actually more expensive here, since filling the 75 of something like TD would require you to have 3,75, making them essentially cost 18.75. For specs like fire mages this is actually quite huge compared to rando-devestation.

I try to make it clear to you that the raid has been out there for 5 months and everyone has more than enough gear and corruption to clear and the vender will make 0 difference on roadblocks like illgynoth and nzoth you cant bruteforce this fights , we for example faceroll with 19 man and sell 1 spot every week and we are still faster than 2 months ago with 20 you are better of kicking the bads than waiting 4 weeks for a corruption this will double the ods to clear.

Yeah, I have a later post with better numbers. My example was R3 TA costs less for 66 corruption than 3 R3 Exped at 60 corruption.

So...everyone clearing those bosses next week or in a month does it how? Only by learning? Dps increase makes no difference to help smooth out some mistakes?

Anyhow....how do I get one of those free spots in one of the upcoming weeks?

Make sure to sim it before going all in. Not sure if you saw but Blizzard nerfed it by 35%.

It's still fairly powerful. It was just way overpowered before, and Blizz only left it that way because there was no reliable way of getting it, what with there being a <2% chance of it popping up on a corrupted item. The nerf only puts it where it should have been all along, instead of being more powerfull than Infinite Stars under perfect conditions.

Actually kinda glad sever isn’t up yet, so I can stockpile echoes, and get sockets.
