Not that I know of. Maybe Fire gets some borrowed power in 9.2 or 9.3 so it can get out of the dumpster it currently is in SL Beta.

if it still ends up being used id imagine it gets nerfed to not work at 60.

Yes and no,

Phoenix Flames functions as a method now to force a crit on instant cast during your combustion, certainly you wont be able to fit in as many pyros as you can in BFA due to PF being on the global but you also gain a global back from RoP being autocast and no Lucid Dreams. You have enough resources in your opener to never have to cast scorch to force a crit for the whole of your combustion so the opener feels pretty similar if a little slower.

Fire is flying under the rader IMO, alot of people have written it off due to the nature of borrowed power in bfa and how the spec currently functions. However fire has some extremley powerful conduits and legendaries and will scale extremley well with the Kirian covenant ability Radiant Spark that will serve as an excellent way to setup potential burst every 30s. Also the control of when to spread your ignite is for me a massive positive change as it adds an element of skill to tracking your ignite and when the best time to spread it is in certain situations and it only requires you sit on one stack out of three of PF.

PvP wise it also has the potential to but an utter monster in setup comps like RMP with the ability to pump out game winning damage every 30s during a stun DR window. The kirian phial serves to fill an old weakness of no self healing as well as shimmer going back to 2 stacks and out play potential with alter time, the spec is actually in a really good place if you understand how to rotate these cooldowns and kite.

All in all i think fire is actually looking super powerful, sure from dinging 60 it will take some time for it to start ramping up but once you get some raid gear and start collecting condiuts i think it is going to be super powerful and engaging to play in most content.............especially pvp

Not directly, Night Fae and Venthyr covenant abilities refill charges, Venthyr does it on Auto Attack every 6 seconds, Night Fae is a channel. I'm currently running Night Fae on Beta doing a combustion using FB, Pyro FB, Pyro, Phoenix Flames, Pyro, FB, PF, Pyro, PF to keep the stacking damage bonus of the conduit that gives % fire damage up, then channeling Shifting Power for CDR on FB PF and combustion while running kindling so it's up sooner, and so far it's working out great. IDEALLY Sunking bracers will also add to the mix and you'll have a mini combustion super frequently running like that.

Also the Bracers cease functioning at level 52.
