In modern WoW your hearthstone location doesn't seem super relevant anymore to me? Especially as an mage. Probably something thats handy for my World Dailies or in the Covenant area (if we dont get a mage portal to there).

I mean, I didnt really have a HS until 8.3 (Uldum), but probably somewhere in Burning Steppes just because all the Blackrock Instances take quite a while to get to compared to most other things.
