I wish people would be as concerned about the terrorising and murder of civilians by law enforcement as they are about a Target getting looted.

Maybe in most cities but not Portland. The losers in my city look for any excuse to destroy stuff downtown. It has been a problem long before BLM.

Your correct in part, and not wrong on any of it. And I'm not helping because I'm slammed at work, but really want to be in on this here. He would technically be guilty of two of the three charges, in my scenario, but only one would apply in the sentencing and "final" verdict. So, again in my hypothetical, he would be guilty of Manslaughter 2 and Murder 3, but only sentenced on the Murder 3 charge. The multiple verdicts is very confusing.

Fucking awesome - the Murder 2 guilty is delightfully surprising.

    Unexpected, but not unwelcome.

We can have a little accountability, as a treat.

    Well that was satisfying.
Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.

I think we're on the same page, or at least in the same chapter. Thanks for the assist!

Hopefully between the prosecutors obliterating the "blue wall of silence" and there being justice for a murderous police officer is just the beginning of police being held accountable on a more regular basis.

This doesn't change decades of systemic racism and police brutality, but it does feel like a breath of fresh air. It's the right verdict.
