    Hopefully.

Now let's do the same for the pigs that murdered Breonna Taylor.

Agreed. And thanks for the help on your side.

2nd Degree Murder - that's fucking amazing. Really didn't see that coming. 40 years max sentence - his life is over.

I really hope this starts the national discussion on revamping how policing works in this country. It has to be completely changed.

I can't help but have tears of joy at the outcome. Since so often... nothing even happens. Feels conflicting since I know very well the chances of well.. progress is slim. What of all the recent cases? What of Taylor? Is anything going to happen in the case of Toledo? What about Daunte?

I never sit in relief for long at small progress, just can't.

Yes I was thinking they would find him guilty of the two lesser charges and then hang on the third. Guilty on all three is surprising even though it should not be.

Yeah you mean a Target who's good and services have already been paid for by insurance.

My relief is overwhelming. Seeing justice actually served is a refreshing change.

At least this ended the way it should. I am honestly a bit surprised, but in a positive way.

Hang on, I have a better angle of him.

Whoops, no - that's him after having his bail revoked and getting escorted out of the courtroom in handcuffs. Silly me.

It's just a way to deflect.

I've had the same argument with people I know. They talk about "there was looting and destruction. They looted this, they looted that, BLM is evil" and it's really just a way to get people to argue about peaceful vs non-peaceful protests rather than focusing on what caused any of the protests: white cops applying unequal force against people of color, usually resulting in their deaths.

    This isn't justice, y'all.

Justice would be George Floyd being alive. This is a modicum of accountability for a single incident - justice entails systemic reform.

    Love to see it.
Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.

LMFAO, I am with you though on that, I'll be more than happy to get upset at Target being looted instead of human beings murdered by the people they are made to believe with protect them.

We avoided a disaster that could've easily started a civil war and perhaps a world-wide race war starting today.

Answer to both is No. Be realistic.
