Service jobs make up a huge chunk of the economy, and many of those jobs cannot be replaced. At best we can hope for new industries we don't even know of, to eventual come up, but if that does not happen... do you think rich people hoarding money will help?

The amount of new and useful tasks that people can do is virtually unlimited and so even if all current service jobs are replaced there would still be an endless amount of new problems and new demands for people to form jobs around.

Sounds like they should have moved to an urban area just like everyone else is doing then. I don't know why you insist on defending bad decisions.

There is a lot wrong with that. You end up with a terrible supply and demand issue. You end up driving more people into poverty as rent costs will continually increase. You end up with much higher unemployment as there are only so many jobs. You end up with poorer education as classrooms become overfilled. You end up with higher costs of daily purchase items as there is a supply and demand issue there compounded with the increased rent on your business since there is a supply and demand issue there as well.

Basically this is how you end up with over prices urban areas with high crime rates, and an outer suburban ghetto.
