    that means 14 blizzcons.

out of 14 blizzcons only 2 have given mounts. 2008 and 2018

so excuse me but "Since they removed the mount reward" what the fuck you talking about?

the mount rewards have been an extreme minority, not some sort of "every year thing"

I didnt say it was fake i said it was overstated and it is pretty obvious when people are getting shot and its being reported as a covid death (seattle). The CDC just walked back a 3.4% death rate to 0.26% meaning that the disease is about 7% as deadly as originally reported.

Highest death toll in the known world from Covid19.

On topic though - Blizzard clearly has nothing to show. Doing online reveals/shows is probable. Everyone else is doing it.

ok let me fill you in.
every time someone dies to something like that, it is reported.
so if your gunna say "Its false reporting, with that, flu is so much bigger" flu is also done in the same...
every single death is done in the same.
so yes the 100k in US may be bigger so lets shrink it down by lets say 10%
    1. thats still 90k
    2. we also then have to shrink everything else down 10% aswell

and oh look its still fucking 90k, unless you think this virus that consumes you from the inside in days is not the thing killing people in the majority...

especially since america is hiding the true numbers, as many states have been caught telling their medical staff to lower the number.

cause idk if you know this.. shhhh....
but the goverment wants yall to get back to work ASAP.
to them, they want you back to work now, so they are going to downplay the virus.

your conspiricy theories that they are inflating the virus... so you stay home.. and get free money from the goverment... its bullshit.

by the way, do you really think the entire world somehow has gotten together and acheived world peace, allowing them to artifically inflate the numbers, and all for what? what do the goverments gain by inflating the numbers around the world and paying you to stay home? mind you no leaks or anything.

do you understand you are on the flat earth, fake moon landing, anti vax level of conspiracy now?

I think its more of blizzard is gunna be exploring how to do an online only show... which is new for them, how do they still charge people for something if its literally just online thingy, its not even like it will be "see it live, tons of panels" it will all be online from the start, and if they do charge, people will compare it to like nintendo directs, which are free, and super well made.

They could just leave their greed at the door and NOT charge people.

We all know that aint' happening though.

What does Blizzard even have to share? Minor info about 9.1?

Their shitty Overwatch expansion disguised as a sequel? Diablo 4? Which is barely past concept stage and won't release before 2022?

I mean, you are a bit dishonest there buddy. First of all yes - Diablo 4 would be the big thing, playable D4 alpha bit on premises was expected. Overwatch and Hearthstone are both popular no matter how much salt you pour on it, so same with Overwatch with playable weekend and the inevitable HS expansion.

Finally, I find their side panels to always be a ton of fun. It is, after all, a great community event and it's fine I won't choke on myself tossing couple bucks their way for a weekend of excitement.

"Targeted by the chinese goverment" uhhh what?
Lolol, you think Covid 19 was made by china to attack the rest of the world? Then why did china have SO MANY hit by it, and still to this day, even though they try to hide it.
if they really wanted to, wouldnt they have made it start in the US? instead of sacrificing their own people?

also lol "Places that didnt do social distance and didnt have problems" where? what places? all the places that had no issues and are fine now are places that reacted RIGHT AWAY locked themselves away, socially distanced, quarantined, and locked their borders.

    1. Yes, but its pretty funny you think China wouldnt experiment on its own people first i mean they pretty much got SARS and MERS wrong since it died out so fast bette to do proper testing this time

China did make those, SARS originates in China mysteriously. MERS starts in Saudi Arabia literal months after a huge trade and nuclear deal with China (not suspicious at all), SARS2 starts in ... *checks notes... China only this time they knowingly let over 750,000 people travel to Europe and the US. China has been know to treat its own citizens terribly why would an "ally" like the Saudis be special enough to not receive the same treatment

    Worth the price. LOL.

You wanna look at something that's worth the price. Look at Dotas Battlepass.

Blizzcon "virtual ticket + cosmetics" is insanely overpriced.

It's not worth the fight in this setting, as it's pretty clear in these forums who worships which idol... and idol worship at the altar of Scientism blinds those to not see anything objectively that counters their world view. Naysayers are trying to present a false binary choice, which results in you getting called names like "flat-earthers" as the standard snide retort. Irony is the earth being flat was considered scientifically true as a matter of consensus in the scientific community and beyond refute at the time, and people were chided/ridiculed (and worse) when they questioned the science presented to them, even when they had evidence and data to back up that the world was round. Further irony is that the same people calling you a "flat-earther" would probably be ridiculing you as a "round-earther" while feverishly defending the earth is flat themselves back in the day.

More back to my original point leading towards the Blizzcon discussion, a few of the concrete things we know about Covid-19 from local/international, peer-reviewed studies and data is that the virus ravages old people and those with pre-existing conditions (we knew this back in Feb/Mar), as well as knowing younger people are not the vector for the virus (basically the younger people don't spread Covid-19). Last I checked, we don't have 65+ year old people massively attending Blizzcon, and the amount of people with pre-existing conditions that would lead to an increased chance of dying from Covid-19 are likely very small. Even according to the local info for Covid-19 where Blizzcon is typically held, the vast majority of deaths are +65 and older, and it's not even close (most of which are LTC/nursing homes). I couldn't find the percentage of Covid-19 deaths that had comorbidity factors in the local/California data because it doesn't collect that info... but from data from multiple states/countries that do track this info, generally >90% of people dying from the virus have at least one comorbidity factor (where I live 98.2% of the people who have died in my state had comorbidity factors regardless of age).

The smart thing to do is not throw out hundreds of years of immunology science/knowledge by having Blizzcon with the following stipulations: if you're 65+ years old and/or have pre-existing conditions that don't jive with Covid-19... don't go, just stay home and get a Virtual Ticket. If you're young and healthy, come on in. If you're paranoid, you can wear gloves and masks as a personal choice.

If Blizzcon was held at a casino, where there's decently high levels of elderly playing slots/bingo/etc., I'd either cancel or change venues for certain. If Blizzcon was catering to old/infirm people as the major makeup of their audience, canceling Blizzcon would be an appropriate reaction. If Blizzcon had speakers/presenters lined up that were the target demo of Covid-19 deaths, I'd want them to not show up at all if they didn't want to and/or remotely present. Considering the actual data that can be extrapolated locally and worldwide, Covid-19 itself isn't a compelling enough reason to cancel an event such as Blizzcon given the demographic of people that show up in person. A more logical reason to cancel Blizzcon would be state/local governments pressuring and forcing Blizz to cancel, avoiding frivolous lawsuits from the "I got Covid-19 at Blizzcon, I'm suing!", or blaming the virus on not being able to have content ready for Blizzcon (whether legit or not). Considering they are delaying content until at least 2021 and doing the equivalent of a live stream, I'd say it's a combination of all these reasons.

Yes, Covid-19 is serious. However, it's not serious (nor statistically significant in most cases) to healthy, young people in comparison to most things that kill the same demographic every day. The virus is certainly serious to elderly people and/or those with pre-existing conditions that align with the comorbidity factors of said virus, especially if they're in LTC/nursing homes. For those that wish to virtue signal concerning the virus, using the Blizzcon announcement is probably the worst hill to die on. If you want to get angry at people recklessly endangering individuals, get angry at the handful of state governors that ordered LTC/nursing home facilities to harbor people who contracted/exposure to Covid-19 in their facilities. That's as close as letting the wolf into the hen house as you can get.

I love how you go through all of this, yet none of it is true.
flat earth was debunked long, long ago, you seem to think it was a rather recent thing, maybe even with the whole "christopher columbus discovered the earth was not round" when it was already common knowledge long before then, the difference between that is they have actual proof, your conspiracy level nonsense with literally no proof is in no such level of any realism. Blizzcon has many older people, and just because you are young does not make you immune. also younger people do get and can spread the virus, idk where you got that, because i beleived that was false at first.
    THen i got it
and spread it to my mom who luckily we both made it, i took abit more of a hit then she did and im only 24. it depends on the person

i dont think i need to say much more since well, its kinda hilarious how just... horrible you are, a fucking monster.

so let me fill you in.
there has only been ONE blizzcon that had a virtual ticket, that gave mounts, so you have only bought 1 virtual ticket every and followed that up with "I stopped buyying virutal tickets when they stopepd doing mounts" so literally every year but 1.

out of 9 years of virtual blizzcons, 1 of those had a mount.
