Question Lower bar from my Desktop still shows when I open WoW

I just got to playing WoW again after a few month's break.
Whenever I try and load WoW, the bottom bar from my desktop won't go away, and it's annoying since I can't click on anything at the bottom of my screen

I'm launching it from the Battle.net app, could that have to do with it?

This is what it looks like

(And yes I have TotalRP lol)

That can sometimes happen, also that is called the taskbar. Common fixes include: clicking taskbar then clicking WoW, right clicking WoW icon on taskbar, alt-tab to desktop or another program then back, clicking the tiny bar on the very bottom right corner of the taskbar then clicking WoW icon

I use Battle.net to open WoW, does that cause it too?

It's usually not an issue strictly tied to WoW. I know I've had that happen to a wide variety of games. If all smaller fixes fail, a fix that usually always helps is restarting the "Windows Explorer" folder in Task Manager.

what works for me is right clicking the wow icon on your taskbar then selecting "pin to taskbar" then right click it again a second time and click "unpin from taskbar". not sure why it works, but it always solves it for me.

Open task manager and restart explorer.exe. This can be done by right clicking on the process.

Sounds like you are in windowed mode, change it to full screen borderless. Mine will switch modes if I just alt+f4 the game instead of closing it properly.
