World Lore, Characters or Flavor?

Posting this here rather than the Lore subforum since I'm curious what the 'average' player thinks too, not just folks who like to go hunting for all the lore and read the books and whatnot.

When playing the game, is the world just window-dressing to the gameplay for you, or do you pay much attention to it?

Do you dive into all the nooks and crannies for hidden details or are you more interested in the 'general' idea of each expansion?

Do you ignore the story mostly and just enjoy the flavor of zany goblins and industrial orcs vs. Dark forest elves and zealous tieflings?

Or are you more character focused where you're really curious what Jaina and Thrall and all them will be up to each patch?

I love to explore and find easter-eggs.

Finding a little house in the middle of nowhere and just appreciate the effort put into it. It makes the world feel alive and my fantasy go wild

World building.

IMO, blizzard answered way to many questions and unveiled way too many misteries.

That made the world seem small.

I still love it nonetheless though.
