2 weeks in August. 2 weeks around Christmas. And sometimes a few days in between, to make long weekends.

I don't get vacation time as such, I have to work around the university schedule, "vacation" falls during breaks -- either mid term or end of term.
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.
Two times a year, 3+ weeks each, and the occasional 1-3 days off.
I try to take a long weekend every month. I find them a good unwind, and helps me to stay focused.
Here is something to believe in!
Scatter.
I get 25 vacation days a year, can't really take that at one time. Any more than 2 weeks off in a row and I think I may start to forget how to function at my job.
I typically take a 2 week vacation in the Summer, take another 2 weeks off around Christmas and New Year's Day. Then throw in a smattering here and there throughout the year.

Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh. You touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.
You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.

I don't get vacation time so...
I usually take a week at a time, scattered throughout the year. My boss once told me "If you force the company to prove that they can live without you for 5 straight weeks, then you've also proven that you're not necessary."
Unrelated, but when I pushed to continue working from home after the lockdown ended, he told me "remember, if your job can be done 100% from home, then it can also be done 100% overseas".

If I even get a vacation beyond a staycation about 2 weeks a year. I try to avoid them if it is a family vacation.
A mixture of both scattering it out and all-at-once. If we are going on a lengthy trip, I take vacation time in a block and pre-plan for this. Otherwise, I am a fan of 'long weekends' and try to keep a few vacation days for extending a few days of off time.
For example, this past weekend was the fourth of July in the US and my company observed the 3rd for everyone. I took two extra days tacked on to that, the 1st and 2nd. So that I was chilling from Jul 1st to Jul 6th.
Before the Coronavirus, we bought tickets to Paris from a week's stay in September. That's not looking good at all now.
Three weeks in the summer, the other half scattered over the year.
I usually take my vacation time in one big block between late October and December, and then a few days here and there throughout the year.
I was supposed to go to South Korea back in April but then the pandemic hit and all flights were cancelled. I was so looking forward to the vacation since it was sakura season.
