Another year another fire festival the scythe doesn't drop...

So anyone else unlucky like me? I'm getting sick of sitting here for years and farming with multiple toons and these event items never drop. Same with The Headless Horseman mount and the Love Rocket...plus other items I'm probably forgetting.

Just getting really frustrating...

Got the scythe a couple years ago when I ran the event daily on 12 toons, RNG is a pain in the ass.

Bruteforced it over the last 3-4 days, got it today.
Then again, when i started to go for it, i basically scammed through character list on every server that could wear staves and is level 15, meaning i did it 15+ characters.

Worst part is, i once had the scythe, but seemingly threw it away before they introduced the collection tab.

Yeah I have yet to get the HH Helm on any character since the fucking thing came out

Got it randomly today, my first run there I've done in a few years really. But I am pretty sure I had it before way back. Must be before transmogs or something.

Been leveling some alts by doing it daily.

Even tho i looted a scythe years ago. So it was just for the easy 60-70% xp of a level.

Seen a total of 8 scythes on 7 characters in basically 9 days. (Didnt bother anymore since last wednesday)
So not getting one sounds unlucky.

Even had guildies report getting 2-3 on less kills of Ahune.
But then again, to small a sample size i reckon.

Considering i got the scythe in like Wotlk / Cata, i doubt it.

So any staff wielder that can queue for it has a chance? If so maybe I'll just keep rolling allied race healers...

Pretty sure warriors and hunters can unlock it too. Just checked and yeah they can.

Virtually anyone can get the Scythe, but in order to unlock the appearance, said character needs to be able to wear it.

I got it on a Hunter for example.

Me & the Arcanite Ripper (I got it from the Kara event on my Hunter, vendored it early WotLK), the Simian Sphere (pre toybox) & also the scythe. Oh well

You can only restore items destroyed or sold in the last 3 months.
