when i was in 5th grade I slammed my hand through the plastic window of a trailer door, it actually didn't hurt at all but the stitches sure did. the most pain I've ever been in was from period cramps until I got diagnosed with endometriosis and was put on birth control which is wonderful. recently though I hit my pinky toe on the door frame and it swelled up and was bruised for several days and even a few weeks later it still hurts if i move it wrong
We cannot go back. That's why it's hard to choose. You have to make the right choice. As long as you don't choose, everything remains possible.

I guess I'm pretty lucky as far as my dentist goes. Nothing he's ever done has hurt (and he always tells me to just raise a hand if it does), and I've had an insane amount of dental work done over the years. I've been going to this one for like 10 years.

I did pass out after I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I opted to not get put under because my insurance wasn't covering any of this, and it would've cost me like an extra $1k, so I just told them to numb the hell out of me. They pulled all the wisdom teeth, no problem. The assistant raised my chair back up, started going through all the "ok so you need to do a salt water rinse this many times, take that pill once every 6 hours" and so on, when I started feeling dizzy. She noticed it and started lowering the chair back, and somewhere around that point was apparently where I clocked out. When I came around, they had an oxygen mask on my face and a couple of monitors strapped to me, and there were about 3 more people in the room.

But even that wasn't painful, just weird feeling. The oral surgeon just called it a "reaction" like it was fairly normal.

Jesus Christ... My phobia of dental work stems from exactly that kind of crap. 1.5 seconds of tooth nerve pain feels like a lifetime when it goes on.

Thank the lawd for that liquid they have which makes you 1) Completely relaxed and 2) allows you to forget anything that happened once you sleep it off.

The difference between dentists and their skill can be daunting.

That happened cause i was mega unlucky and the nerve had become inflamed, first time happened to me, hopefully never again

I moved last year, i stayed at my old dentist, dont wanna risk changing and spending several trips to different ones thats closer to find one thats good, i can deal with the 1h drive each way as i know its a GOOD dentist.

Quit smoking tabacco after 10 years It was so hard for me to do it on my own that I even thought I would never quit. Unfortunately I didn't have much money to visit doctors or specialists and start a whole treatment so I decided to buy chantix online and it was right decision of mine. I really couldn't believe I don't smoke anymore.

Faceplatnted in a mosh pit at 13, lost my front lateral incisor, root and all. That was basically painless, I was partially in shock and couldn't feel much.

The painful part was getting the tooth put back in about an hour later, without any anaesthetic whatsoever.

i have this throbbing pain in my head from banging it against the wall.....in the past 20 years of the babyboomer plague.

but seriously, i was hit by a car...ouches....broke my foot...ouches....hit by a car and bounced off another...ouchy..(all different instances)...but that is nothing compaired to having a root canal where the dentist refused to numb me up more when i was a teen.

i was in pain also after that for 4 days, the kind where you don't even get out of bed to pee.

Yeah, with help from braces for a few years. I had put it in a cup of milk almost immediately, which helped.

My dentist called it the miracle tooth and published a case study.
