Gladiator Mounts Account Wide in Shadowlands

Greetings Gladiators!

Gladiator mounts have long served as one of the most prestigious rewards in all of World of Warcraft. This is due to the considerable time, effort, and skill required to earn one. In the past, we felt that prestige should be reserved to the character that earned a Gladiator mount, as this best demonstrated your expertise with that particular class.

Shadowlands Season 1 will be the 30th PvP season in World of Warcraft, and a lot has changed over that time. Not only has the game evolved with the introduction of new classes or changes to existing ones, but players’ preferences have often evolved with regard to the class they like to play most.

So, beginning in Shadowlands, all Gladiator mounts, including those from previous seasons, can be used by all characters across the account the mount was earned on.

Oh, nice, now people who bought account with some Glad char can exhibit their mount! Well, it seens its better PVP hard for a collector than doing pve stuff, i mean, pvp stuff always gets deleted.

when I saw the post title I was very excited we'd finally be able to buy PvP mounts for honor or marks or something. Oh well, this is good news for like 1% of WoW's playerbase.

Shouldve happened a long time ago. Finally I can use my wotlk glad mounts on my alts instead of the ugly BFA ones

I think that would make more sense, but this affects such a small proportion of the player base I don't think it really matters.

Well f me i guess - all glad mounts i got are from wotlk and they look like the normaler raider mount.

Challenge mode rewards are account bound alreadly unless you mean the teleports in mop?.

As for the change I am happy and kinda annoyed....but in a super small way.

I didn't bother with mounts for a few expansions now as I got into the habit of swapping mains each expansion. I guess I can ride around on my unarmored frostwyrn again so that's cool.

Also gives me a reason to push 3s now.

Maybe they meant if you had cm on one toon you unlock all classes.. because yeah otherwise they have been account wide for awhile now

This is a terrible change and devalues the mount so much. Glad Mounts should be given to the character that worked to get it.. it's why those mounts are so prestigious. I don't even have one and one day I will but at the very least it should be class wide instead of account wide.

Pvpers bust their ass for the titles and the mounts.. want one? Put in the work for it. Got one? good keep it for that class.

Worst change ever.

People who did PVP with a specific class were at least rewarded with multiple mounts on that char. Now there is no punishment for going with the next FOTM spec that breaks the balance.

Account wide mounts are stupid since day 1. Rerolling to the next FOTM should not be rewarded and that was the only thing that left that made PVP somewhat prestige - thats gone now. You did your x-gladmounts on a underdog class? GONE NOW! Now you are just as any regular FOTM reroller that goes for the easiest path.

I dont get it why they even touch PVP, it was the last remaining part where your history actually showed what you did to get your rewards. What a shitshow.
