Twilight Corrupter & Griefing

Twilight Corrputer is a boss needed for Scarab Lord. Spawns inside Twilight Grove in Duskwood. It is not a particularly difficult fight, simply needs LoS it behind one pillar. Here is the thing, what the other faction can do is have x10players with sappers stay dead at said pillar, rez-->sap..>AoE and wipe an entire raid.

On another note, in the same area World Boss Lethon is and this boss is an easy boss that is easily grief-able by any one with a taunt. Simply taunt during a switch when the raid is stunned and you wipe them.

A paladin can mount in before pull and agro boss-->Bubble--> raid wipped and get a 15min debuff that prevents doing that boss.

Is this word PvP when one player can wipe 40 players over and over?

First you write you need 10 players to revive and use sappers and then in your closing sentence you complain that just one player can wipe them?

I miss wrote sorry, any player with a taunt can wipe a raid that is true. As for Paladin, they can agro the boss into a raid that has yet to engage.

Do blizz have rules regarding world PvP Bosses and quest lines or is it a free for all?

If it's a PvP enabled server, Blizzard will do nothing as there is a PvP solution.

If it's a PvE server (or a member of your own faction is ninja pulling to wipe you) then you report them and they get banned... :shrug:

Blizzard already said they'd punish griefing this boss in these manners.

Seems like a bad prepararion. If you are dying to aoe you can always use Greater Fire Protection potions and even Titan flask so 10 players cant kill you.

PvP in PvP realm its not griefing.

Players are choosing PVP-SERVERS intentionally and are annoyed about PVP occuring.

What does Blizzard Support even do with this kind of tickets?

Yeah, while I had a lot of nice random social interactions over the last year, most of the famous server community building features in vanilla seem to be about giving the biggest guild with the least care for anyone but them the tools to make everyone elses playtime miserable.

World boss pvp should be about wiping out the enemy before you pull and then keeping them from overwhelming you while you fight, not about abusing boss mechanics or hours and hours of stopping your own faction from killing the boss until one side gives up from frustration.


The other faction ressing and fighting you seems fine though. I think you could come up with tactics against that and that's actual pvp.

We kept denying a couple of hordes their kill for two days straight. They didn't help with war efforts and some of them just bought the frgaments, talking smack in discord, so we locked down the grove messing around with them. Yesterday morning we heard that the horde was recruiting a massive army to storm Duskwood for the Corrupter. We had a 40 man raid there waiting at the choke, thinking we could deny them forever. What came up the hill was the largest army of zug zugs I've ever seen, some reports say 300+. This is what my Spy looked like. They just zerged the boss, nothing we could do. Ressing took ages due to lag.

Discord blew up, it was super fun. A proper world pvp event.

Blizzard's code of conduct is so vague as to be worthless. Anyone telling you Blizzard will take any sort of action about any specific situation is talking out of their ass. The only sure thing about Blizzard is that their automated system will punish someone if it gets enough reports in a given time frame. If you are expecting them to intervene in any way that requires an actual person to do anything, it is time to lower those expectations. That isn't to say it doesn't happen, but it is absolutely the exception.

This isnt exactly that. This sort of strat is executed on many world bosses without punishment. I wouldnt expect any from this.

I don't either, but it's the closest thing anyone can get to an answer for the OP. It's likely something they just said in the hopes that people would simply take the warning and just not do it.
