Hello, do you think this game is suitable for a casual with slower reflexes?
I have 1-2h per day, but not everyday.
Could I progress alone/at my on pace solo?
Thanks.
Its free, and it has lot of content so playing 1-2h a day you'll have a lot of gameplay ahead of you if you enjoy whats there. You can play solo for leveling and at the start of the endgame, you'll get your set from chaos dungeon and you can upgrade it up to 1370. After that, you'll need to step foot at least in abyss dungeon to get the next set, which is group content. Other than that, you'll have guardians that are solo/group content, tho I dont know the state of tier 1 and tier 2 guardians atm, but this is for extra materials. One day you might have to queue for stuff in group, but until you reach that point you can try it, as I said its free. I liked my first playthrough, the story is basic but get the job done, and there are some nice cutscene.
Yes there is a lot of horizontal content for solo players.
After it also depends what you mean with « solo player ». As in, playing without friends/guilds, or completely solo i.e without even using matchmaking ?
Second option will block you at 1370 basically (but you won’t reach that in a day though), first option means you just avoid the « high-end »heroic content
I’ve been basically just plodding along solo. Still lots to do. Feel like I make progress each day. And holy crap if you like collecting stuff you’ll have a ton of stuff to do.
Not going to comment on the reflexes bit but I’m not the quickest and I can still stay out of the red.
I am a casual with slower reflexes myself. I found 2 things that make a difference: a) watch a couple of videos for each instance before doing it so that you can at least know what you are expecting (admittedly, for some encounters it makes little difference) and b) try to go NOT at the minimum item level, but a couple of tiers above it. From there on, a third option I liked was doing a bit of casual pvp to learn my class a bit better and how I can deal with different situations, but I appreciate that pvp is not everyone's cup of tea.
No friends, unsure about guild, but slim chance: I quit WoW many years ago because of my schedule/time zone/etc, and it's still the same now. I guess it will be lucky/difficult to find a guild with players online at the same time as me.
Also thank you unfilteredJW and blackpink for the replies.
I'll watch some videos about class presentations and give it a try in the near future.
Same boat, I'm quite fed up with wow guild drama , hit lv50 few days ago 550 ilvl, plugging guardian raids and chaos dungeons easily, don't know how will it go with higher content

Tried pugging challenge guardian raids, 1st one went well, 2 and 3 failed at 1st attempt (2 had like 2% hp), feels like gunslinger is super squishy and need to reach tier 1 peacemaker to boost dmg but i'm not getting any damn peacemaker engraving on both stones and gear![]()
You think you do, but you don't ©

I've leveled my Gunslinger with Time To Hunt instead of Peacemaker, it seems easier to play in order to grasp the overall class gameplay, and it helps with mobility as you spend more time with guns. You're also losing a lot of stagger options, that can definitely be a problem against some guardians.
Edit: sorry i misread, I thought you did regular guardians. I don't remember which one is the second one, Vertus Achates for the other 2 I think ? Achates is pretty punishing for squishy classes if you don't dodge absolutely everything, especially in the Challenge "event" where you only have 5 pots
Regarding the engravings, start with books. Getting 20xcommon Engraving Books is pretty easy and that can grant you 6 points (3 points, twice, in case you weren't aware, you can apply twice the same engraving), or 12 if you have enough Rare Engraving Books. 12 points is Rank 2 and not far from Rank 3 so that's definitely a good option for some classes, and Common/Rare Engravings are quite easy to get through quite a lot of different content and events.

No idea why people complain about the game. I've had hundreds of entertaining hours, but at a certain point the (free) progression slows heavily and the story and endless, endless quests and the long travelling start to become very annoying, at least for me. And I just stopped playing.
Nonetheless, I had some fun time for free, while on the other hand I bought for example Dying Light 2 (which also was a fine game) for full price and it lasted for roughly 10h fun.
So if anyone asks me if the game is for them, I say they should just try it. If you had fun while doing so that time is not "wasted" even when you stop playing.
I really enjoy the game and want to finish the leveling experience but man these 10k queues are rediculous. Took me an hour and a half to get in yesterday.
yea, swiftness + spec. The ceiling for Peacemaker is higher but the floor is a lot lower imo. If you're not cycling through your skills super on point, you're not doing the amount of damage you'd be doing with time to hunt. I was definitely not great with peacemaker but I've been getting upright fighter more consistently with time to hunt and sometimes cruel. That's good enough for me as an alt. You can pretty much follow this guide https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/build-gu...ger-raid-guide.
