Paul from the Secret Finding Discord has discovered how to obtain Jenafur!

• Talk to Amara Lunastar at coordinates 17.4 49.3 in Ashenvale.
  /way Ashenvale 17.4 49.3 Amara Lunastar
• Interact with the Empty Dish at coordinates 44.2 53.1 in Elwynn Forest (inside Donni Anthania house).
  /way Elwynn Forest 44.2 53.1 Empty Dish
• Go inside Karazhan (Legion Dungeon) and pick up the following foods: 2x Juicy Drumstick, 2x Marbled Steak, 2x Fishy Bits, 1x Meaty Morsel, 1x Slathered Rib.
  
  
  
  
  
• Place the food on tiles in the Opera Hall. Food order from left to right: Juicy Drumstick, Marbled Steak, Fishy Bits, Meaty Morsel, Marbled Steak, Slathered Rib, Juicy Drumstick, Fishy Bits.
  
  
  
  
  
• After placing the food, Amara's Wish music plays and Jenafur spawns! Click on the cat and the pet is yours!

Paul was not a part of the secret finding discord community, it says in the google doc he doesn't play wow, but his friend was giving him theories. He did get information from the discord but was not a part of it.

Also be advised there are now Jenafur groups on group finder where you don't have to pick up all the food and place it....just have to have visited the nelf in ashenvale then crazy cat lady in Goldshire then go to Karz and pick her up.....but you need to do first two parts first before heading too Karz.

Has anyone said how long Jenafur stays up to click? The guide made it sound like she didn't for long.

I picked her up a few hours ago but the instance wouldn't have reset; can I just invite friends to do the same and still get her?

Edit: zoned back in to find the entire instance reset - even the bosses! I wouldn't have been surprised if trash was back or even the meats needed replaced, but even the bosses were up and I could no longer interact with the foods. oh well.

I think this was solved after a hint from Amara, the girl who spawned the Jenafur secret in the first place as part of her Make-a-Wish trip to Blizzard HQ. At least if her gofundme campaign is to be believed. Either that or it's a crazy coincidence that the secret is solved just as the gofundme campaign hits the 5k goal. It's a good cause in any case, so I'm happy to see it supported, but glad to finally see this very long lived secret solved.

Look in group finder.. many groups are up where you join and zone in to get the pet. Make sure you do the first two steps in Ashenvale/Elwynn first, then you'll be good to go! Just got mine.

Well Wowhead is crediting her as giving the final hint so I guess she kept true to what she said. Although when you first said gofundme campaign I thought Blizzard would throw a fit it being a Make-A-Wish thing and all but then I saw the campaign is for a donation towards further research so there probably won't be any issues.

I haven't heard how long it stays up once its been feed the food to bring her forward...I did by myself took 3 tries to figure out how to do it easy way....

You can absolutely do it solo but it takes time to pick up all the foods, and rush back to the opera room to place them (they despawn from your inventory after 5 minutes and just moving around Karazhan between food pickup spots and the opera can take that long because it's a big instance). Zoning into an instance where someone has already placed the food saves time and effort, but no, it's not hard to do solo. It probably took me 30 minutes, although I went and cleared everything around the Opera, Moroes and Maiden in advance so I wouldn't have to deal with mobs once I started gathering the food, and I still had to go back and get two pieces of food after they despawned.

If my instance hadn't reset after I'd left, I would have happily shared it with folks to save them that time.

Just a tip, you don't actually need to collect the foods from 8 individual spawns, click them fast enough and you can get two from each spawn.

If possible could you include the link to Amaras go fund me? I'm glad it's solved but on the other hand I was really hoping it'd hit the 10k mark prior to get some funds to a good cause. Amara gave the community a hecking good run figuring this out.
