What are the iconic classes and characters for each race?

Trying to go through each race and level toons based on classes that have characters which are iconic. Can't think of one for every race though so need help.

So far I have:

Blood Elf:
Mage: [Kael'thas/Rommath/Aethas/Anastarin, Darth'remar (post-exile)]
Hunter [Lor'themar, Windrunners x4, Halduron]
Paladin [Liadrin]
Rogue: Valeera Sanguinar
DH: Kayn Sunfury

(can't think of anyone else that is iconic level - though there are some decent characters in other classes, Valeera and Kayn for e.g.)

Nightborne:
Mage: Thalyssra, Valtrois, Occuleth, Elisande

(Silgryn for warrior? Although he isn't that iconic tbh)


Night Elf:

Currently I think blizzard is serious about race/class combos htey have icnoci characters in, yes I know it seems some races are very far from that, but that's just a time illusion, if they don't come to a character or class in a race for a while, people start forgetting that race does that class very well. Classic example is blood elves, people now think of them as Light experts, and don't even have them as mages number 1 anymore - just becuase blizzard hasn't showcased Belf mages for a while.

But i think if they have powerful legendary characters in a race

It's an interesting way to look at races, if you had rephrased the question as which are the most iconic classes for each race, the answers would be different. But this shows actually what blizzard thinks are the key classes of each race.

He is a new character from the Shadows Rising novel, Alleria orders him to provide food, clothes, etc. for the refugees in Arathi after they're done with the interrogation.

Also, I would think Falstaad and Kudran are warriors and hunters moreso than shaman, unless you view the stormhammer gryphon riders as shaman because of their lightning powers

Rogue, Warlock, Priest are the classes that fit their theme very very well, yet they have no representation there.

It's funny, out of Mage, Hunter and Warrior (the 3 they seem to have), only mage really fits.. but then the void is more of an enhancement... still though.

Nightborne mage: Elisande ofc, like the most notrious mage.

Worgen Rogue - Tess Greymane

Zandalari Paladin - Talanji is actually a Paladin/Priest not a Shaman due to Rezan.

Tauren Druid - Archdruid Hamul(?) Runetotem

Also Bolvar was a paladin, not a warrior. Sen'jin was a witch doctor which is more like a shaman/priest hybrid, and Rokhan is a shadow hunter, so more like a hybrid of shaman/hunter.

Calia isn’t a Forsaken, she almost isn’t considered undead at all. She is more of a lightbourne Human than anything else.

At least not in the Iconic sense, Putress, Faol, High Inquisitor Fairbanks, Lillian Voss, og Nathanos. Maybe some abominations like... Rotgut I forget the guy who patrols and gives quests outside of UC.
