Oh, how I have missed you...

This will not be an interesting thread. Its more for me than any of you. I just wanted to come in, after some time off and say Hello again.

I'm a Dad now. Started playing this game when it launched back in 2004 when it didn't even know how to pleasure a woman let alone raise humans. I was a quite a different person, but kind of the same in some ways. My excitement for coming back to WoW is higher than its been since I was IN it. Back when every patch brought excitement. Where arguments were not so personal and always created some competitive reasoning. Forcing people to prove each other right. Guild competition was high on the list of priorities because the groups were so closely knit.

I'm not saying it was better back then. I just don't know how to navigate today. I'll figure it out, and it will be fun to do again.

Thanks bud. I may be a random for a while. Have not completely decided what to do yet. I got a DK tank up to 120. Just figuring out the guild situation.

Weird comment about pleasuring a woman aside, welcome back, and congrats on fatherhood. It's pretty great, even when it's not great.

The game being around this long is interesting to many of us. I'm nowhere near the same person I was when I played this game to kill time in hotels/while on the road. I'm grateful to the game (any game or book really). It ties to a quote I read somewhere, though I can't remember the author. I think it was on the topic of time wasted playing games, and the response was - wasted? I'm grateful for all these other lives I've been able to lead in addition to my own.
