I already boycott it for other reason. Because it's almost mandatory content for covenant progression and due to some reasons it have to be hardcore. I mean all that "It will be so hardcore, that even ground mount will be disabled there, so you won't be able to skip our super-important hard mobs via riding past them" crap. Blizzard don't learn any lessons. Hardcore content with soft timers - is BAD game design. Visions have clearly shown that. Yet they do it again.

If it's anything like visions I'm 100% for it, I don't know what you have against those.

Yeah, like people say, the rng about upgrading conduit is just a catch up, a way to upgrade them outside the normal way which is to get them from dungeons etc, just like relics in Legion.

Except the part when inevitably your best PvE conduit drops in rated Arena or vise versa, like the Blood essence and you are either forced to do content you do not enjoy doing, or grind in hopes that gods of rng upgrade the stuff you need upgraded. This is literally just pure bullshit design.

waht grind ? jesus dude 1 rar mob/world event drops like 130 stygia or how ever you spell it, do you even play the beta? + torghast twisting coridors drops it too
even if you have this Magical scenario with your bis conduit being locked behind pvp you can get in in 1-2 weeks of casual play

You know the "rng" is not how you are suppose to upgrade conduits. The ranks are tied to ilvl which goes up with key level anraid difficulty.

The "rng" is a catchup/stygian dump along side sockets.

Which is not in the beta a month before launch, so until it's actually in the game, it's not real.

This is mmo champion, theres a reason this forum has randomly 1 poster that makes a thread that gives this forum the criticism being the worst of the worst. It dosen't deserve.

Blame people with too much free time, these kinds of threads also become more notorious at the end of an expansion / start of weekend. Hopefully after SL there will be less stupid minority whining going on.

With the recent changes and new RNG / currency systems, I’m afraid we as a community need to boycott the MAW so they get the message, we wont play the way you want us to play, but that is a commitment from casual to top end players and all realms.

This should be proposed from top players and streamers, if no one enters they will notice that 100% guaranted.

Well, anyway, I've tested the Maw, and it only takes ya about an Hour to get what you need done. Regardless of the RNG. So, :/

Either something has happened midway with the goal of it, or just they ran out of time, but the problem with the maw mainly is its QUALITY, and PURPOSE, on top of that it's as annoying as it can possibly be. Which, if it's true, then it's a real concern.

Well, the Maw's "eye of the Jailer" thing resets every day. But, overall, it is kinda weekly. Outside of the conduit shit, the Maw itself is incredibly empty and boring.

what happened was that the maw was originally supposed to be where you farmed keys for torghast. when people flipped out they made torghast free, but the maw lost its purpose.

so now you can farm sockets and its a secondary way to level up conduits.
