I was 17 and it was the last expansion I went to the midnight release for at gamestop. I'll always remember they gave me a giant expansion box for the game which I still have somewhere at home.
This expansion will always be one of my favorites for the stories and beautiful imagery all over the continent. I'll also remember being stuck flying the copter at the start of questing.

    I was 29
I'd stopped playing WoW by the end of Cata's deadzone, through Annual Pass
Seems like 8 years to me
    I always feel old.

Just finished master's degree, going into work i had considerably less time to burn on WoW and friends so I quit hardcore raiding. But pugging was alrite for me.

I was 33, I felt old then and I feel older now. I've noticed that time seems to pick up considerable speed as you age - and while any given day may feel like an age of humankind, the accumulation of years feels like they've barely passed at all. Time is weird.

I was a senior in high school -> freshman year of college. I remember getting the challenge mode armor set for my paladin and I was so excited. MoP was such a great expansion. Although I remember being upset about what they did to my boi Garrosh. What could have been... Stonetalon mountains garrosh = best Garrosh.

Hard to believe its been 8 years since the last good expansion.

    I was 15.

Remains the best expansion. Oh I know, people will cry about the pandas, but there was no other expansion with lore so deep, near perfect class balance and gameplay, quality PvP, and possibly the best zone design ever.

Not to mention the additional patch content, Isle of Thunder and Timeless Isle were incredibly well done and serve as a model for how to do island content today.

Was 21 or 22,man it feels like yesterday, its funny how time flies, and it feels like its flying faster the older you get (well its a psyhological relative thing when you are young one year can be a huge chunk of your lifespan until that point, but when you are old one year is a tiny fraction of that lifespan)

It's mostly our perception of time and how our monkey-brains filter out so many memories that time feels condensed

Yeah, somewhat. I don't miss it so it's not like I long for it. For those who do I guess 8 years is a bit longer.
    Nope, I don't feel old.

I was 23. Don't really remember much else about what I was doing at that time. I do remember I had just started working my first "real" job where I had actual responsibility for shit. I also remember it being the first collectors edition I bought. And it equally does and doesn't feel like 8 years because the last 4 or so of my life have been a whirlwind anyway so there's that lol.

I think it was also the first beta I got into and I remember how broken some of the classes were early on due to fucked up scaling lol. I remember my mage frost barrier couldn't be broken before it came off cooldown so I was basically immortal. I also remember being blown away with Jade Forest because it was such a huge departure from everything we had seen up to that point.

I was actually just 18 years old, and it was my first expansion playing from its launch. I started playing WoW right before 4.1 if I remember correctly. I played all day to try to get to max level. My server was extremely low population, and there were very few guilds that could clear the entire tier. Even the best guild was still like world 800, while every other guild was more at 1.3-1.4k level at best.

I ended up seeing that top guild's players across a dungeon in shado pan monastery or something iirc, and it was so cool to play with them. Afterwards I reached 90 shortly after them, and they showed me the hidden serpent isle to get the cloud serpent mount. They told me that since I was early to level, I'd have a much easier time than everyone else to get it, not to mention that I'd be early too!

So I got the cloud serpent as one of the first people of my server, and it felt freaking awesome! Many damn solid memories from MoP, the best expansion ever.

I was 24 and I was playing at the midnight launch with my then boyfriend, now husband, sleeping in my bed next to my desk.
It was a fun launch but I decided to skip most of the starting quests in Jade Forest after experience from the beta and spent most of the night running around exploring Pandaria. It was magical.

Don't feel too old, people still think I look like I am in my early twenties xD But I do miss the days of Pandaria. The class gameplay was super fun, the music and visuals were amazing and it was just a well designed expac all the way through(except Golden Lotus, fuck that shit).

That's because each year passing is a lower % of your whole life. So each year is factually a smaller and smaller part or your whole life.
The more you live, the less one year of time is to you.

Wow... I was 58 but loved the expansion. It had lots of eye candy ... beautiful.

Thank you for making me feel old. MoP did have a lot of good moments but I got really tired of the Asian theming all over the continent, and I was never a fan of how stereotyped they made the pandaren which there were to many of. It was the last good expansion, and then came WoD......
