So I'm not 100% clear on EM. Isn't EM beneficial for the trigger character? Wouldn't you want to use Diona as the setup and then use someone else to trigger the reaction?

Well her 6 slot has a buff when characters are over 50% on it (for switching). She also does work well with Fishil bird to trigger ice reactions.

Oh well, it seems like I learned something today. Gonna keep doing one wish at a time though, I will never have enough primogems to blow on 10 at once. And I am not going to spend a dime on this game, or at least I will avoid it as much as I can.

1 wish is better to do overall as you may hit a 5 star on even 40 and then you end up wasting new rolls with increased chance (1-20).

No it isn't. 5* characters are on a 90 roll pity, so if he got the first one at pity, then he's still ~20 rolls away from the second pity timer.

Or if he's being stupid and rolling on all banners then he'd be at ~50 rolls per banner, well below any pity timer

No. I needed almost 90 rolls for Klee, and she's my only 5*. Now I have over 70 rolls on the standard wish and no 5* yet. I wish I was pretending, honestly.

I've always done 10 pulls, just did 11 singles and got 1 epic book and the rest trash weapons. Pretty sure the secret single roll magic is bullshit.

Don't mind them, they drank the youtuber koolaid and somehow think 10 pulls individually is any different then 1 pull of 10 individual rolls.

It makes *some* sense if you're close to being done with a banner, and don't care about building pity, or don't want to waste your pity by getting a 5* you don't want.

The point is people ACTUALLY think you get more characters with single pulls but the fact is that is wrong. It is what you said, if you don't want to go past pity.

Btw. Is anyone else at AR45+ and has some "trouble" (as in, healers were basically obsolete but now enemies deal damage?)

It's not like I can't beat shit and can't kill shit in like 1-2 phases.
But hell, my characters get low all the time and I don't want to freaking use Barbara as a healer... she is so... bad when it comes to everything else. Even her healing output is simply not enough because it takes so long and I don't have gear for her with attack (which is the only way to make her viable).
It's pointless to stack HP on Barbara because when she is on the field, she has to deal damage or it's a huge DPS loss.

What healers do you use?
I'm thinking about switching to Noelle + Bennett as my main healers.
Currently building Bennett (60/70) and will probably stop at lvl 70.

But as for Noelle... it kinda sucks that she can only heal with her shield active and while her healing is powerful, that requirement is actually really a huge hindrance because that shield can disappear with a single hit... and then she can't heal anymore for the enxt 15 seconds or so.
Barbara can at least not lose her elemental-skill status...

Try to get a hydro damage % on Barbara as her attack benefits 100% from it.

Also may i ask, but how far away you are on normal banner roll wise. If you are like 10-20 from soft cap you could try to get a Jean (still small chance).
Oh and Diona heals are realy powerfull, but downside is that you need a character in circle inside to get this heals. She heals more than Noelle on singletarget, but Noelle heals without switching the party members, so there is risk and reward.

IMO Noelle needs very very very special care as a character.
You need to go "ALL IN" on her build.

She needs Retracing Bolide set bonus (shield 30% stronger) some defence substats AND i personally like to go full damage on her Artifacts and get DEF bonus from the F2P weapon.
If you give her special care, there is no way her shield is easily destroyed...unless u get hit with a major thing u were not supposed to get hit with.

So yeah...i just wanted to say...you CANT "mildly" build Noelle.
You have to go ALL IN on her....woah, that sounded wrong.

Yeah I guess that's true.
1600 DEF is something you should aim for I guess.
That would at least survive 1-2 hard hits with a lvl 7ish Talent
The thing is, you actually do get hit with Noelle, because - at least in my opinion - the goal is to activate the shield and start spinning to get the heals as fast as possible. So there is no time to dodge stuff imho.

And bosses/big enemies hit for like 6-8k and when there are several enemies at the same time, shit can stack up quickly, even from smaller enemies. Not to mention that special modificator-aura thingy that some enemies have inside a domain.
It's a small aura below their "hitbox". The Ice one, if you don't dodge it, hits for so much.

Does Noelle's shield stop interruption btw?
It's not stated in the skill description... I'm asking especially due to how fucking annoying that frost domain is for farming skill-books.

It's horrible to do solo because all 5 icicle spawn on you, resulting in a chain-stun reaction where you get hit by all kind of shit. And since you are constantly debuffed with ice, you have no stamina to do anything.
