So uh, how do you guys deal with pyro slimes quickly? I seem to struggle with taking them out quickly in general.

I use Fischl E + Diluc auto attacks

If I have chungus in my group then his E + Diluc auto attack

So I decided to try the game out, I am so hooked right now, my wife and wow is very mad, since all I do is play GI. No idea what I am doing or who needs what stats etc. but I am still early game. Couldnt chose a proper name since it kept telling me I cant have numbers in my name, even though I did not have any numbers, so ironically it accepted 2 as a name lol....

Just play whatever you want, the only time your good 5*s matter is when you're doing late end-game stuff like floor 12 of the abyss. Anything else can be done with 4* characters.

Where do I get the free wishes? I can use acquaint fate on standard wishes, I have 23 of them. Then there is the novice wish with the beginners discount so 8 instead of ten fates.... And is there any codes available right now to redeem?

Yunru is saying to roll on permanent banner? Isnt this bad as a "new player"?
You can, and most probably will, only get a 5 star weapon instead of a whole new character.

I always say to new players to ONLY wish on EVENT banner....at least until the first 5 star character...

Anyone know the exact mechanics to non-active heroes gaining energy for their elemental burst when not out on the field? Should I swap to other characters when I see the energy balls flying towards me?

I forgot the numbers T_T sorry

But it works like this.
Particles give your entire party burst energy
Characters of the same element of the particles will get incresed % of meter
Characters of different element get minimal %

And yes...you can/should switch character before the particles get to you (if you need burst on another character faster)

Yeah, lets back up a second here.

Re-rolling (making new accounts, leveling them to 10, spending the free wishes to see what you get) is a viable strategy to try to get a 5* early on, but not required by any means and not fun at all.

I'd just save up your wishes for now and wait until you understand the game a little more and know who/what you want. Exception for the Beginner banner perhaps because of the discount.

The Standard banner is almost always going to be low value for new players. You can't target anything, you're just getting random stuff from the entire pool of available things, so it's a bit iffy.

i would say to wish only in event banner when u like what you might get

perma banner you can end up crying if u get a 5 star weapon instead of a character

Ok used them and got Noelle, Ningguang and Bennett, dont know how good they are but hey. Guessing 4 star chars is generally stronger then the 3 star ones? And what about our starter chars, do I need to feel guilty for not having them in the party now? lol. Soo many questions

There are no 3* characters in this game.

Traveler (main character) is pretty good.
Ninguang is pretty good as main DPS
Bennett is one of if not the best support ingame


Noelle is "meh"... especially with no constellation (every additional Noelle you pull, or for example a second Bennett, unlocks a passive - a part of her "constellation", up to 6 in total)

I would tell you to wish in the current limited banner (the one with Bennett, Fischl, Albedo and Sucrose) for a Fischl when you can.
You can make use of all the characters in there. Even another Bennett, because his first unlock (Constellation 1 / C1) is very important.

There will be times when you use the starter characters for puzzles etc. At least to some degree. Amber is very good for fire-based puzzles for example.

5* characters does have higher base stats than 4* characters. That does not however mean that they are "better". As Kray mentioned, Bennett for example is one of the best characters in the game simply because his supportive capabilities are insane.

Both Ninguang and Bennett are really good. Bennett is a support while Ninguang is a carry/burst character. Noelle is unfortunately not that good untill you get her at C6. When she however does reach C6 she is incredibly good.
