Pyro. Bring someone with Pyro damage and it'll melt the ice shields super quick.

Amber isn't the best, but she's free and you already have her.

And for future reference (I believe this is correct):
Ice shield > Fire damage
Fire shield > water damage
Water shield > lightning damage
lightning shield > ice damage

If you don't have the correct element, then the two others that aren't the shield element will work, but will take 2-3 times as long

For geo shields (you'll see them later) you want a 2h sword or geo damage

Oh yeah, Xing is great for breaking shields. Bear should trigger a reaction with every attack, and so should her ult.

Not sure for others.

The game is in its infancy.
Its confirmed they are working on multiplayer dungeons and there are multiplayer events from time to time until then.
But yeah.
So far "endgame" is Artifact farm and Abyss...and character development (leveling) takes a huge amount of resources...so there is also that.

Well i prefer a fire + lightning reactions. Electro just works better as support element for this. Problem with water is that it does damage over time, so you cant spam it.

Not to mention that it is a single player story-based game that is just releasing more story. This isn't a hack-n-slash like Diablo or an MMO like WoW. There isn't really "endgame" in Skyrim or BotW.

EDIT: Although, because it is a gacha game, that mix to keep people playing a paying will be a tricky balance.

Why would anyone pick Xingqiu as "secondary" dps when he is basically all support and no DPS.

I mean, he literally has no DPS ability that does help him in any way that would justify him staying on the field.
He can deal the same amount of damage as a full support.
Or what does secondary DPS even mean?
