I gotta say whoever developed MiHoYo's launcher should never be employed again...
The game has been around for a while, it's on version 1.4 and their PC launcher still isn't functioning...

The "update" pretty much just redownloads the whole game and reinstalls it...
and once it does that it gets stuck on "verifying".
I wanted to have a quick jump back into the game... but it looks i gotta once again concede to their "spagetti-code" boss.

Only works if the launcher/dowloader didn't botch up the update/download which pretty much leaves you with a 20gb "_tmp" file in that folder.

Yeah and it doesnt help that much for Ganyu either in floor 12-1. Its almost imposible to keep those things in range for long even with taunt.

It adds damage when someone gets in, but if 4 are in it reduces damage?
Or is it +100% when no one is in and -25% for anything that gets in.

It works fine for me and I didn't notice nor hear anything troublesome about it. Did you try running it as admin? It's the most common issue I encountered with launchers in general...

By far best looking zone, if it wasn't for frost debuff i would hang around there a lot more, hope they will introduce a gadget to permanently ignore the debuff once you complete the chain

It turns out the installation as a whole is flawed. It just doesn't go well if you install it on any secondary drive.
After installing it on my primary drive it works now.

It turns out the game is so much more enjoyable if you spend a few bucks on a starter account with your desired character unlocked.

I've now played up to adventure level 22... and it feels like a concrete wall. It seems like i only have sidequests left, with any story quests locked behind 2-3 additional levels of grind.

It's not wow where you level 1-60 in 10 hours

There is a way to not pay and this is by playing 20 min on it -- roll and if you dont get the character you like, you just make a new profile. Game will trow some of free rolls into your face at start. If you are still early game, i suggest you restart before you make it main.
