All the content that focuses on AoE seems like this would be the strongest covenant for fire mages.

Channel over 4 seconds that lowers all other cooldowns, cooldowns on AoE like blast wave, dragons breath, meteor, even living bomb, rinse repeat. The channel itself is an AoE too so even there there is some AoE being stacked on top.

more you can stacks it and use it before combustion to get even more mastery (3% for 1 stack, max 10 stack, 2.5 or 2.0 rppm - if you think this is low eye of corruption right now have 1.0 rppm)

I'm making it sound like there's no problem because every tree gives you nice things, but that's really not the case. You basically have to hope that everything syncs up for your spec, there are a ton of cases in which the best soulbinds, best class ability and best covenant ability are all from different covenants for you. Which sounds like an interesting set of choices until you remember there will be specs for whom the same covenant gives the best options for all 3.

Podtender: When you take lethal damage you instead regen x hp over 10 secs and if you take y amount of damage you die instantly.

Its perfect to a mage... Cauterize first, when you "die" second time, podtender actives.... but you cant be hit in the "pup time"
