I hope they do release a brutosaur model without the AH at some point outside of gold purchases.
The model is nice, the AH..eh

Comes a time when we all gotta die...even kings.
Nope. Was planning on taking my time as I did with the Mega Mammoth and MEga Yak mounts. But because Blizzard does not seem to learn from its own history I go without.
Way better things to spend gold on than a ground mount
I've got about 300k saved up from running old WoD raids, but then I got distracted, so I'll probably just buy the yak and call it a day. I have a personal guild and bank toon so insta-AH isn't really super necessary, though I would like a GIANT BOY to sit on sometimes.
Got it about a month ago , no regrets honestly. Other than the time spent doing shit like paragon on 1 char and emissaries/invasions on about 10 alts lmao. Although yeah , removing it is kind of a bullshit thing to do ; smells like a greedy move from blizz.
Bought it the first day of BFA, best gold I've ever spent, even if it took a large portion of my savings.
A huge convenience for me and my friends/guildies when i'm in the group. We even used to joke that I always have a guaranteed raid spot due to me having the mount
as people can always buy the consumes they are missing mid raid. Having the mailbox toy from the questline that most of my friends were too lazy to do has helped as well
The additional feature most people seem to forget is that the bruto mount also has the trade goods vendor, in particular the one with all the food components. That was very convenient as well, I don't even know where the regular cooking vendor is, never needed it. Sadly it'll be less relevant in SL.
I don’t mind I don’t have it, nor will I ever get it. I have the Grand Yak, which offers transmog and a vendor to sell things. I don’t ever go to the AH enough to justify the price tag for that 1 extra bonus.
All that said, congratulations to everyone who got it and are very happy about it. I don’t mean to downplay your happiness as what I first stated is my personal views on the matter. They in no way are to reflect yours or are an attempt to make others feel bad about their purchase.
Zero interest in the mount. It doesn't bring any functionality that I care about. I can get the AH via simple hearth to city or to my garrison, and the reality is that I don't use the AH more than once or twice a day anyways.
The Grand Expedition Yak is more functional for me...and I'm not into xmog at all.
Did the lame thing and used my gold to get battle net currency instead. It's just too large and ugly for me.
The AH feature is cool and all but if I need it, I can just go to any mailbox and there is almost always someone on one. I would rather save the gold for other mounts that have been removed like the plagued proto.
Anything even remotely related to gold past wotlk is an absolute joke.
i just wanted to mount and got it through tokens. I first figured out what would be the fastest way while not being completly bored... i grinded herbs for a week 1 hour/day and had an average around 30k a day (depending on the luck i had with Anchor weed). Then looking back at my real life job if i did 1 hour of overtime i could make like 300K ingame (1,5 token) so i just grinded it in real life. i like my job more then flying around mindless collecting herbs. (i know not everyone has the privilege to do as many overtime they want) but its so much faster if you can actually do it that way.
Yeap got it before summer, would have acquired it way earlier, but playing super filthy casual due to circumstances made it that long for me.
i think he means bind on equip gear from raids that they sell on the AH
Blizzard is removing this mount precisely because of its own history.
The Mammoth mount was awesome in WotLK because back then the 16K was significant. But due to inflation, the effective cost came down significantly over time. I guess they don't want the same thing to happen to the Brutosaur down the line. Whether or not it's the right decision is, of course, debatable.
Nah, I got to 2 million and gave up. I got so bored with running old raids over and over.
